“How did you guys meet Amber?” The man interviewer asks the lovely boys of 5 Seconds of Summer.
Ashton laughs, “She was a shy, odd girl.” He can’t stop laughing.
“Ignore him,” Michael says. “She was normal innocent exchange student that we got to and corrupted.”
I roll my eyes. I’m off screen just watching the boys. Not like I’m in the band or anything.
“She just happened to be placed in one of our classes, and placed by Ashton. It was perfect,” Calum smiles.
Ashton takes a deep breath, “She wouldn’t say a single word to me. And when we got to work with the people around us, I had to say almost everything.”
I smile. At least those dorks are telling the truth.
“I was the one who finally asked her to come watch us at a band practice,” Luke says. “She’s stood by us ever since. Supported us no matter what. You probably already knew that.”
“Well, yeah. I’ve done some research,” the interviewer says. “What was the first thing you thought when you first saw Amber?”
“Pretty,” Ashton says.
The other boys laugh and I can’t help but smile a little bigger.
“What? It’s true,” Ashton’s cheeks have a light red tint to them.
“I think I thought innocent,” Michael shrugs. “I didn’t even know here and that what I thought. I also thought how could I corrupt her.”
“For no real reason I thought smart,” Calum says. “We were told she was coming here for the education or some other shit. So I just assumed smart. And I was right. Kind of.”
“I’m pretty sure my first thought of her was holy shit she’s American. Like, why is she coming to Australia? Stuff like that,” Luke says. “But I’m so glad she came. The band wouldn’t be the same without her.”
Ah, so sweet.
“Can I change mine to beautiful?” Ashton asks.
“No, ow shut up,” Michael shoves the oldest.
“One more question about Amber,” the interviewer says. “Why’d you even talk to her the first day she came to school?”
“Her accent,” Calum says.
“Her looks,” Ashton smiles.
“That she could be corrupted,” Michael chuckles.
“That she was so odd,” Luke says.
That first day when I met these four crazy boys seems like it was just yesterday. Music was a big part of all our lives, and brought us together to make the world a better place.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ This story I wrote for the first time two years ago, and I just found it again a few days ago. I thought, with some editing, this could be good. So, here is the first chapter, and I hope you liked it. :D
