A Bowl of Soup

When helping her Father run the soup shop Sophie Reid has always been reluctant, but when she comes across a homeless boy her age in need for the first time she begins to understand what charity really is. As Sophie ages she tries to find way to express her charity.

1. 1 Corinthians 4 - 7 (New Testament of the Bible)

"Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is puffed up,

doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; rejoiceth not in iniquity,

but rejoiceth in truth;

beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things."

My translation of this to those who might not understand what it's saying:

Charity is tolerable and kind. It does not envy others. It does boast or put itself up on a pedestal to look down on others- it is not unruly but behaves appropriately, it is not selfish or stingy, does not  get easily angry, is optimistic, enjoys honesty and is fair.

Charity is the mother of all things(supporting all things), believes in all things, has hope in all things and suffers patiently.

In other words if you did not get it yet get the gist of it.  Charity is love

It is my goal to be like Charity, as a woman I feel that's how I should be, no, that's how I feel everyone should be.
