Him [ A Werewolf Tale ] *Completed*

When I was 13 years old, my entire family committed suicide, by driving full speed off a thirty foot bridge. Morbid, I know. Unfortunately, they deemed themselves unfit to live and ended it the only way they knew how. They had gotten themselves stuck in something deep and dark with a couple of the demons around our neighborhood and their contract was coming due. So at the age of only 13, I was left to fend myself and survive in a world full of vampires, werewolves, and demons.
My name is Claire Summers and my family had once ran one of the most powerful werewolf packs in North America. That is, however, only because of a contract held by a certain grey eyed demon. Since my parents died, I have been shunned. Disowned by everyone and unwanted in every sense. For the first time in my life I was completely and utterly alone. Until I met him

31. Chapter 29 | Where The Hell Is My Daughter?

Chapter 29
I never knew it was possible to have such powerful feelings towards someone that was not my mate. I didn't love him,  far from it actually, but I held a certain corner of my heart for Alex's family. They were my family too after all. The only family that I actually did have. So of course I cared and inadvertently made Alex jealous. I had dropped to my knees in front of Sebastian and pulled his head into my lap. He continued to convulse, my presence was no help to him.
I hear a growl behind me and Alex snaps, "Get the fuck out of the way. Back up everyone!"
Looking behind me, I see the crowd instantly part and a woman runs through. She attempts to take Seb's head from my lap, but I let out a low snarl. She removes her hands with wide eyes. I did not know who she was, but there was no way in hell that she was touching Sebastian in the state that he was in.
"Babe," I hear, as Alex wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me away from him, "She's the pack doctor."
I relax back into him at the realization.
"Let her do her thing," he continues.
A few more people push through the crowd and move Sebastian onto a stretcher. Latching him down, they run off to the hospital wing. Turning around, tears fill my eyes. Alex calmly stares down at me.
"What is your problem?" I screech, hitting his chest, "How are you not freaking out right now? He's your fucking brother."

"He is," he nods, "And I am worried about him, as much as I hate to say that. But he's a strong wolf and he's a Westwood. He'll pull through. But to address the topic of my emotions, after you lose nearly everyone in your family you get complete control over your emotions."

"I lost my entire family!" I snap, "And I'm still worried sick."
"I'm also an Alpha," he explains, "They are built to not feel anything. They can't cry every time a member of their pack gets hurt. I'm attuned to it."
Sighing, I pull away from him and start towards the hospital wing. A sudden pain hits my head and black dots enter my vision. I stumble to the side, my eyes sliding shut.
"Claire?" Alex questions and his arm wraps around my middle.
"I don't feel so good...." I mumble, before everything falls black.
I awake with my arm tied to something metal. Moving my arm slightly, I let out a hiss of pain when my hand comes in contact with silver. Opening my eyes open a crack, I see that I am in a small cell. Bars surround me and by the feel of it, I am propped up against a stone wall. I open my eyes fully and try to sit up further. I let out another hiss as my arm accidentally knocks into the bars. Silver bars, great just great.
What happened to me?
"About time you woke up, angel." a familiar voice murmurs right next to my ear.
I shriek and move away from Simon. I had not even noticed that he was in the room.
"Now, now. Don't struggle too much. Boss won't like that." he grins, stepping towards me.
"What do you want with me?" I snap, my lips pulling back in a snarl.
A haunting laugh echoes around the small cell, "I don't want you. But my boss does and I'm not one to disobey orders."
"W-where am I?" I stutter.

Simon lets out another laugh and takes a step closer.
"This," he gestures around himself, "This is home. It's a shame I'm just in your head, isn't it?"
"Home?" I spit, my lip curling in disgust.
"The king will claim you soon," Simon says, "Be a good little girl and wait."
I raise my eyebrows and let out a small chuckle, "You're stupid to think that Alex would let anyone take me."
"You see, Claire." he snickers, "He won't find out until it's too late. Now, to move on to the reason that I brought you here. You disobeyed me."
"I did not. I would have done it if Alex didn't beat me to it." I lie through my teeth.
"Did you forget that I'm in your head?" he asks, raising an eyebrow, "I can hear all of your thoughts and both you and I know that was a major lie. I'm not very fond of people who lie to me."
My mouth falls open at the realization.
"I told you to kill Stephanie." he continues, "And you didn't do it. So I had to take measures into my own hands and escalate things a little. Then you were stupid enough to still not do it, so I had your precious little mate do it for you."
I gape, "You made him kill her?"
"Well, no, I can't take all the credit. The thought was there of course and I just kind of pushed him." he shrugs, "You know I've been doing that a lot lately. Pushing people, I mean."
I scrunch my brows in confusion, my glare unwavering.
"I love to hear them scream as they fall." he smirks, "You know, I think your parents were my favorite. Oh how they screamed and then they gurgled as they drowned."
"My parents didn't jump." I protest.
"Oh yes of course. But all it took was one little swerve of the wheel and Bye bye mommy and daddy." he chuckles.
Tears fill my eyes and I cannot stop the cries that slip from my lips.
"You killed my family?" I sob.
"Yes, it was fun." he says simply, "Anyway I want you to do me one last little duty before I leave you alone forever. Kill the girl or you and your precious little mate die. Understand?"
"You want me to kill Wren?" I gasp, tears still sliding down my cheeks.
"I want you to do exactly as I say. End her or its all over. Now, do you understand?" He barks, stepping towards me, his eyes falling red.
I widen my eyes, nodding my head frantically.
"Good. Oh and Claire, remember what I said about demons, never trust them. Watch your back, little runt." he snickers, before, once again, everything falls black.
The first thing that I feel are tingles shooting up my arm.

"Claire!" I hear a voice scream, "Nicole! What the hell is wrong with her?"
"I-I don't know, Alpha. I've never seen anything like this before." a frightened voice yelps.
A gasp escapes my lips and I shoot up from the ground.
"Claire?!!" Alex screeches, grabbing my face, "Are you okay?"
Worry fills his eyes and his lower lip wobbles slightly.
"I thought you weren't supposed to cry when pack members got hurt." I tease.
"You aren't just any pack member and you damn well know it," he barks, his lower lip continuing to wobble.
I sit up fully, propping myself up on the wall behind me.
"I'm sorry, Alex." I say, "I'm fine. Thank you for worrying about me, but I'm okay."
"You wouldn't wake up," he babbles, "I didn't know what to do."

"I'm sorry. Everything was just too much." I sigh, looking over to the gates.
An older woman is talking, more like yelling, at the guard appointed there. Looking over at Alex, I nod towards them and he immediately tenses. Walking over to the gates, his jaw clenches and he rolls his neck.
"Mam?" he questions, crossing his arms over his chest momentarily distracting me.
"You." she scoffs, "Let me see my daughter."
"Who's your daughter mam?" I speak.
"Where the hell is my daughter?" she snaps.
"Who is your daughter?" Alex growls.
