6. Chapter 6
It was a two days later when I finally heard from Harry.
I was walking down the street, headed to work when my phone buzzed.
Looking down at it, I noticed it was a text and I immediately opened it.
*HEY LOVE, SORRY I HAVEN'T CALLED OR ANYTHING. I WAS BUSY THESE PAST TWO DAYS AND NEVER GOT THE CHANCE. DO YOU WANT TO MEET UP AT THE PARK AROUND THREE TODAY?* -Harry-
Smiling, I started typing almost instantly. *WISH I COULD, BUT I HAVE TO WORK....* -Madison-
It wasn't but two seconds later that my phone buzzed again. *HOW ABOUT AFTER WORK???* -Harry-
Smiling, I knew he really wanted to see me...Otherwise he would've aleady given up.
*THAT'LL WORK.* -Madison-
*GREAT! :) WHAT TIME?* -Harry-
I thought about that for a minute, then typed away. *SIX-THIRTY?* -Madison-
*SOUNDS PERFECT. I'LL SEE YOU THEN. ;)* -Harry-
I smiled and walked into Bath & Body Works.
I passed by Charity who was working the cash register and went to clock in.
Afterwards, I put my apron on and started stocking like I always did.
Stocking and running the cash register was my thing and that's exactly what I did.
Charity was a quiet person--We got along just fine.
She and I never talked to each other much unless it was a topic that we both had to talk about.
I dealt with the customers on the floor and she checked them out when they were finished shopping.
We never complained and we never had gotten mad at each other, basically because we did our own thing.
After I finished and clocked-out, I started making my way towards the park.
It was fifteen minutes after six and even though I was early, I went to our meeting place.
Sitting down on a bench near the fountain, I watched it as it went up and over-flowed into the little water-catcher-thingys.
As I got lost in my thoughts, I seen a figure sit down beside me.
"It's peaceful, isn't it?" He asked.
The voice with the accent was one that you could never forget and memories of the other night flooded bakc to me.
I turned to look at him, smiling. "Nice to see you again."
He smiled at me, his green eyes sparkling. "The same to you as well. I'm sorry that I'm late."
"Don't worry about it, I was early." I say smiling. "I got here around six-fifteen and decided to come on out here."
He smiles. "So how was work?"
"Good, calm." I say looking back at the fountain.
"That's good." He says. "Where do you work?"
"Bath and body works." I say.
He smiles again. "Nice."
"You?" I ask.
"A garage downtown." He says. "Fixing cars and motor cycles and such."
It was my turn to smile. "That's cool!"
He chuckles. "Lets be serious with one another."
"I am!" I say smiling. "I think it's cool! I'd love to do something like that."
"Then why don't you?" He asks.
"I don't know how." I say shrugging.
"They'll teach you." He says. "It's not hard."
I smile. "Why don't you teach me?"
"I could do that." He says smiling.
Smiling, I gaze into his green eyes.
Something dragged me further towards him, something serious....I didn't like things that were serious when it came to relationships, and right now, something screamed 'Serious'.
My eyes fell tto the ground as I smiled.
Something inside of me was scared and I was wondering why I had done this is all I felt was fear around him---For no possible reason!
I would keep him for awhile and then let him go, just like I'd done with all of my exes.
But as I laid in bed taht night, my thoughts kept me awake about Harry.
It was something that I didn't like---That I wasn't used too!
Never had I ever been kept awake just by the thoughts of a guy, it was stupid!
As I finally fell asleep at three in the morning, I knew that something wasn't right and that something had to be done, quickly.
