25. Chapter 25
The morning was incredibly busy and Izzy was trying her best to teach me everything.
The bright red-haired girl with stunning blue eyes was practically dancing around the work area, fixing drinks and showing me things.
I had instantly learned that she had a very optimistic attitude and was a very happy person in general.
Although, I couldn't say that much about Kyle.
He seemed to be the quiet type and a bit of a loner.
Although, I got him to smile this morning because I had made a drink that wasn't even on the menu....And definitely wasn't what the customer had ordered.
So, Izzy had let me run the rigister this morning(Which had been rather easy) and now that the morning rushers had calmed down, she was teaching me how to make the popular drinks.
Kyle was watching as I finished a Mocha Frapp and smiled yet again once I had successfully put the whipped cream and chocolate drizzle on top.
"You're doing great!" Izzy cheered as she clapped her hands together. "Now, I'm going to teach you how to make a few seasonal drinks."
"Izzy, who's going to drink all these drinks you're making her make?" Kyle asked, finally saying something.
Izzy smiled at him. "We are."
Kyle's eyes widened. "There's no way we all can drink five Frappe's."
"We will be able to, just wait and see." She says.
"And if she gets them wrong?" He asks raising an eyebrow at her.
"We'll drink them anyway!" She says happily and then dances off to the register.
I can't help but giggle at her attitude, it's so cute!
"She really is different---In an extremely good way." I say and Kyle chuckles.
"Oh, just wait, you haven't seen anything." He says to me. "When she fires someone, she has the hardest time doing it."
"Really? Is she firing someone today?" I ask.
"Tiffany." He says. "She keeps coming up with excuses not to come into work and Izzy has finally had it."
I nod and then we get back to work. ################# Kyle and I stood in the corner, we were on our lunch break and Izzy had brought Tiffany to the lunch room.
"Tiffany, I'd really like to talk to you...." Izzy had said in a slightly wary voice.
Tiffany looked like one of those girls that partied and slept with everyone around.
Her whole attitude was snobby and I was just stunned by the feelings she gave off.
It made me want to crawl under a rock and just hide....There was no wonder why Izzy was firing her.
"What is it now Izzy? The one day that I actually can come in, I get bombarded by you!" She glares and Izzy looks taken aback.
"I'm sorry to do this Tiffany, but I'm gonna have to fire you." Izzy says reluctantly.
She must really be a people person. "You keep making excuses and you're never able to come in when we need you. I'm letting you go."
Tiffany's eyes widened to the size of saucers. "YOU'RE FIRING ME?!?!"
"I have no choice, if you can't take on responsiblity then I have to let you go." Izzy says.
"You know what Izzy, I'll be happy to go. I don't need this job anymore, I'm getting married." She hisses and storms out of the business.
"Well, even if I was getting married I'd still have a job. I don't want to depend on a guy for money." I say.
Izzy shrugs. "Don't worry, she'll be finding a job again...In about two months--But it won't be here."
We finish our lunch break then head back out to the work area. ################# As I close the door and enter the house I smile.
My first day was incredible and extremely busy.
I go into the kitchen to find Harry and Josie there, talking.
"There she is!" Josie says excitedly.
Harry smiles and comes over to me.
He kisses me and I smile, jumping into his arms.
"How was your day?" He asks as we pull away to gaze into each others' eyes.
"It was incredible." I say smiling at him.
"I'm glad." He holds me close to him.
Josie smiles at us and then points to a sandwhich. "I made you dinner."
Giggling I thank her.
After a few minutes, Harry sets me down and I eat, then we talk for a little bit before I'm overcome by sleep.
