21. Chapter 21
Things had gone haywire and I was entangled in a mess of confusion and fear.
Thoughts had overtaken me and my mind was coming up with questions they never had before.
'Why hadn't I just let him go the minute I saw him?' My mind thought.
'Why didn't I just walk away from those emerald green eyes when I had the chance?'
The 'why's' and 'I-Don't-Know's' just kept adding up.
Soon, the pile had gotten overwhelming and I didn't know how I was going to keep this up.
His name floated in and out of my mind rather constantly.
I had tried everything that I could try to not think about him....But when his eyes and smile came into my mind, it was hopeless to continue fighting.
I'd drive by the garage, knowing that he'd be too busy working to notice me.
Each time, though, my mind would dare me to go inside...To go talk to him.
Although I know that I needed to go see him, I stayed away and hid from him.
It was a childish thing to do, but I didn't know what the outcome would be.
So, after two weeks, I decided that something had to give.
He'd called, he'd text, but I never responded.
So, as I got into my car and drove towards the garage, I felt as if I was stepping into an arena of killers.
This was going to be scary, but I never gave him a chance to explain himself and I knew that he deserved that....
As I pulled up to the garage, I found him working on his motorcycle.
I was nervous and scared and I honestly didn't know how I should do this.
After finally getting out of my car, I took a step towards the garage.
When I had walked inside, I noticed that nothing had really changed in here since the last time I was here.
I looked around and then down at him.
My heart skipped a beat as I remembered how he used to look and how that look compared to know hadn't changed a bit.
His hair was messy and so was that white T-shirt he always wore to work.
I leaned against the door frame of the garage, watching him.
Although, when he turned his head to pick up a wrench, his eyes darted over to find me.
He pushed away from his Harley and took me in.
His eyes were full of curiosity and wonder.
Jumping up, he started towards me and I looked into his eyes.
"Harry, I'm so sor--" He cut me off ky kissing me deeply.
I tried to pull away, but he held me close to him.
His arms wrapped around me and I was frozen for a few seconds.
Slowly, I let my arms wrap around his neck and before I knew it, he picked me up, wrapping my legs around his waist.
Our lips continued in sync and then he slowly started french kissing me.
When he finally pull away, he gazed into my eyes.
"Don't ever leave me like that again!" He said and I nodded.
"I'm sorry....I just---"
"You've never truly been in love with anyone, I can understand how it's scary." He says. "But, I'm not going to hurt you and you're going to have to trust me."
I nod and smile slightly.
His lips crash against mine again and I'm lost in his little world.
Being away from him has made me crazy about him and as he slowly pulls away, his face becomes serious.
"Why don't I take you somewhere and we can talk?" He says.
"But you're working." I say.
"No, it's my day off. I just came to work on my Harley some more." He says.
"Did you ever get it finished?" I asked.
He smiles. "Wanna find out?"
I smile and he sets me down.
Rolling the Harley out of the shop, he starts it up once it's outside.
"Would you like to go for a ride?" He asks and I smile, nodding.
He climbs on and then I get on, putting our helments on.
Afterwards, he takes off and I wonder what will happen by the end of the day.......
