16. Chapter 16
Dawn had approached yet I didn't want to get up.
I knew that Harry had today off and I smiled at the thought of possibly spending the day with him.
As I opened my eyes, I realized how I still wanted to sleep, but I looked up at Harry thinking he might be awake.
I was totally wrong...He was still asleep.
To be honest, I didn't mind because I--For some odd reason--found it interesting to watch--Him sleeping, I mean.
It was still strange to me--How he affected me.
Truth be told, I was still scared of this weird thing that was going on.
It wasn't easy being away from him and he was constantly on my mind.
Whenever I seen him I got slightly nervous and--In all honestly--he was kind of intimidating.
Though, I was getting better...The nervousness had calmed down tremendously!
As the sunlight streamed in through the windows, I watched as it lit up his features and I snuggled up to him more.
He groaned softly in his sleep and after a few seconds, his eyes opened.
I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Good morning Mr. Dangerous."
Another thing that was truly strange, was how I was confident on top of all the feelings that were overwhelming me when I was around him.
He smiled at my greeting and kissed my forehead as his green eyes tried to wake up from their dreamworld.
"Good morning Mrs. Confident." He said and I rolled my eyes.
He chuckled and I smiled at him.
"And where exactly did 'Dangerous' come from anyway?" He asked looking sort of confused.
"It's just a sense that I get from you....Dangerous." I say.
He nods. "Now I get it."
"I'm gonna go make breakfast, ok?" I said.
"Want any help?" He asks smiling.
"No, you worked late last night, I'll make it." I said and he smiled, shaking his head.
"Worrying about me?" He asked.
"Maybe...." I said smiling as I got up.
He laughed as I started walking towards the kitchen.
"Oh, love," He said making me stop in my tracks. "I forgot to tell you that I'm meeting with some friends today. I didn't know if you wanted to come along or if you wanted to stay."
"That depends...." I say leaning on the threshold. "Do you want me to come along?"
"I would absolutely love it if you would." He said smiling.
"Then I'll come." I said and disappeared into the kitchen. ################# As I leaned against his Camaro, with my arms crossed over my chest, staring out into a field of red dirt.
My black shorts and green tank top felt good on me since it was so hot outside today.
Harry was standing in front of me and I took in the scenery....Which definitely wasn't much.
For at least two miles, there was nothing but red dirt.
No bushes, no houses, no nothing...Of course, there was a an old abandoned race track just a few yards from where we stood, but I wondered why on earth we were here.
He smiled and looked into my eyes. "Today, we're going to have some fun."
"Doing what?" I asked as I look into his green eyes.
What could they possibly be doing out here in the middle of nowhere?
"We like to....Race." He says smirking slightly.
"Really? Race what exactly?" I ask, curiosity taking over my features.
As soon as I heard the engines revved up and turned my head to see cars racing into the parking lot, I knew what kind of racing he meant....Car racing.
