12. Chapter 12
The next morning, I woke up and came downstairs in my pj's.
I grabbed my iced coffee drink out of the fridge and poured some into a cup, although, I heard giggles and voices coming down the stairs.
"No, I don't think she came home last night, which means you get to stay for breakfast!" I heard Josie giggle.
Oh boy, wasn't she in for a surprise.
I had placed the carton of my coffee drink on the counter and then found her pulling the bartender from the club we went to the othernight, into the kitchen.
When she seen me, she froze and I smiled.
"Hello, Josie." I said smiling.
Her face turned red and the guy smiled, trying not to laugh.
"How are you here? Your car isn't outside!" She stated, embarrassed.
"Harry dropped me off last night. He brought me home since it was so late." I say.
Her fades turns fifty shades darker and I smile.
"Oh and, you might want to try not to scream so much. We'll get a complaint from our neighbor if you're not careful." I said, making the guy laugh.
"Madison I can't believe you!" She said to me, frowning.
"Come on, lighten up. You were all giggles and happiness before you found out I was here." I say.
"Because I thought I'd get to spend some more alone time with Tristian." She says.
I smirk, knowing what her idea of 'alone time' is.
"Uh-huh, sure." I said as I placed the carton back inside the fridge.
Tristian kissed her cheek. "Babe, it's ok. I have to work tonight anyway, but I'll come back and visit you again soon."
She turned to him, smiling. "You better."
They kissed and then he left.
Once the door shut, Josie immediately turned to look at me.
"Your so mean!" She says frowning.
"What did I do?" I ask innocently.
Josie gave me the look. "Why didn't you stay with Harry last night?"
I was completely shocked by her childish attitude.
"Wow, you know, last time I checked, the house was in my name. Second I don't sleep with guys all the time Jose." I said.
Her eyes widened and I watched, wondering why she was acting so childish.
"Your name? So what, just because I live in 'your house' means that I have to play by your rules?" She said.
"I never said anything about rules and whats with the childish attitude?" I ask snobbily.
She glared. "You didn't even call me before you came home!"
"Was I supposed to?" I say. "How was I supposed to know that you had some guy in your bed when I got here? Where the heck did you want me to go?"
She just stared at me.
"You know that you typically call me to tell me that one of your 'guy friends' is staying over, so why didn't you do that this time?" I ask.
She shut up.
Then I remembered how Josie tended to pick fights when it was her time of the month
"Josie, is it your time of the month?" I ask.
She looked at me and I noticed that she was, in fact, blushing from embarrassment.
"Go sit on the couch and watch Pretty Little Liars." I say. "Then come talk to me afterwards."
She huffed and left, I laughed as I drank my coffee drink.
She was always liek this when it was her time of the month, I don't know why I hadn't thought of that before.
As I finished my coffee drink and then went upstairs to change, I noticed that Josie was sleeping on the couch.
When I came back downstairs a while later, I found a note on the counter. 'Left for a little while, I'll be back tonight..' ---Jose. After studying the note, I went into the living room and started watching TV.
I was bored and felt terrible for not doing anything, but what could I do?
As I started thinking about it, a nap sounded quite nice.
I didn't even try to take a nap though because it was already past twelve-thirty and I knew that if I were to fall asleep now, I wouldn't be able to later.
Giving up, I got up and went into the kitchen, grabbing a Pepsi that would hopefully wake me up and get me motivated to do something, but instead I just sat at the table and did nothing.
Absolutely nothing.....Then Josie came home...
