“So, Joey didn’t get fired, and Ross went on another date,” Chandler recounts the other day where I decided to stay back at Phoebe’s apartment to really organize my room.

“That’s it?” I take a sip of my hot chocolate and lean back into the Central Perk couch. “Well, Ross must have been up late because he is totally asleep right now.”

Chandler and I look over at the other end of the couch to see a fast asleep Ross.

“I really don’t care,” Chandler scoots closer to me.

“Well, past that. I was wondering if I could sleep over Christmas Eve,” I lean forward to place my mug on the coffee table. “Like I did when we were kids.” I lean back and look at my brother.

“I think I can let that happen,” he smiles. “Just for my little sister.”

Phoebe strums her guitar and begins to sing. “Happy, happy, Hanukkah, Chandler and Monica. Very merry-”

          “Hold on Pheebs,” Chandler interrupts.

          “I’m not Jewish, and-”

“That doesn’t matter. Ross doesn’t actually decorate his tree with floss, but he’s not complaining. God!” She slaps her guitar and Ross jolts awake.

          “Bad dream?” I tease.

“I wasn’t sleeping,” Ross straightens up.

“What was Phoebe’s song about? Since you weren’t sleeping?”

“The cat one. Hey, I gotta go, date tonight.”

“The girl from Poughkeepsie?” I question.

“No another girl. Turns out the one from uptown was making a joke. It was different than I thought, and wasn’t funny. I’m still torn.”

“Well, let’s see, you don’t exactly like the uptown girl, and the one form Poughkeepsie is making you exhausted. So, you take a train up there, break up with her. Then on your way back you stop and break up with uptown. Then when you get home tonight, you’ll be done.”

          “You’re right. You are right.”

“I had a similar problem when I lived in Prague,” Phoebe adds in.

“Prague,” I curiously look at Phoebe. “That’s a new fact I didn’t know.”

“Oh, there’s a lot you don’t about me,” Phoebe smirks.

I giggle, “That is overly true. And you don’t know a lot about me. Oh, speaking of me,” I look back at me brother. “Thanks for taking me to the game the other night. I had so much fun.” I notice that Ross has fallen back asleep. “Ross!”

          “What!?” Ross jolts awake.

“You need to go, now,” I motion for the door with my head.

“Oh shit,” he bolts up and rushes out of the coffee house.

“Nice one,” Chandler holds up his hand and I promptly high five him. “Also, I’m glad you came to the game. I think we all bonded, and, I’m happy you and Joey get along.”

“What about me?” Phoebe strums her guitar.

“I’m happy she’s getting along with you too, Pheebs.”

“I’m happy too,” I speak up. “I can’t wait to become good friends with everyone.”
