“This is boring,” I lean up against the stone building. “Emily did pick a nice place to get married. I bet it was very nice before they started to tear it down. Even now though, with all the lights, it is very beautiful.”
“I guess so,” Joey has been pacing around.
“I want my wedding to be outside, and small. No bad bridesmaid dresses. A beach wedding would be cool.”
“Uh-huh,” Joey takes a look around.
“Joey, Rachel isn’t going to slip past us. You can relax.”
“Talk to me in your accent, please,” I give a little pout.
“Fuggetaboutit,” he slightly smiles. “How you doin’?” He winks at me.
I giggle, “I like that. Now, come over here,” I smirk and motion him over with my finger.
“Oh,” Joey walks over and lightly pushes me against the wall. “After last night, Chandler still has no idea about us.”
“That’s good. And now no one can catch us out here,” I place my arms around his neck, pulling him closer. “I know you want to kiss me.”
“I do,” he mumbles against my lips. Then the next thing I know, we are making-out.
After a few minutes, we hear Ross and Rachel talking.
“Shit,” I mumble as I pull away from Joey. I take a few seconds to get my breath back.
“Worth it,” Joey gives me one more sloppy kiss. “She didn’t even confess to him, so don’t worry about it.”
“We should go get ready to walk down the aisle. Since you lied about not being in the wedding,” I poke his chest.
“Yeah, sorry about that. I had times confused. I didn’t really lie, though.”
“No worries,” I kiss his cheek. “Time to go get in line.”
The two of us enter the building and gather with all the other people in the wedding. After a few minutes, the wedding starts, and I’ve made it down the aisle. Within a minute, Joey is walking down and has a phone up to his ear.
I sigh, shaking my head slightly.
Joey steps up next to Ross. The two argue for a small bit, and Joey just holds up the phone by Ross’s shoulder.
I sigh. My boyfriend is such an idiot sometimes.
Joey catches my eye and mouths, “Phoebe.”
I nod, looking away to see Rachel in the throng of people. She’s right in the front and gives me a small wave.
Before I can react, ‘Here Comes the Bride’ begins to play, and everyone looks to see Emily being walked down the aisle by her father. The two make it to the end, Emily kisses her father’s cheek, and takes her place next to Ross.
The minister dives into the same thing they always say at weddings. Then Emily says what she’s told to repeat, and then it’s Ross’s turn.
“Ross, repeat after me,” the minister says. “I Ross…”
“I Ross…” Ross begins.
“Take thee, Emily…”
“Take thee, Rachel…”
In that moment, the whole room gasps, and I glance at Rachel.
“Emily,” Ross chuckles. “Emily.”
“Um, shall I go on?”
“Yes, go on,” Emily glowers.
In that instant, I wonder why she doesn’t stop it. How Emily can just continue.
It does continue, though. The wedding goes on, and Ross and Emily get married.
“That was, crazy,” I walk over to Joey once everyone has exited the room.
“What just happened?” Joey puts his arm around my waist.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* One more chapter. This was a weird part of the series, so I didn't want to write too much of it. Hope you like it, though! :)
