Jongin laid awake trying to figure out Minah's motives.
She did act strange the whole time we were at the concert...
He switched to his right side, resting his head on his palm. He couldn't stop thinking about the rest of the EXO members.
They were really happy on stage, maybe even happier than when I was still in EXO...
Maybe this is for the best, me being non-existent
The next morning Jongin stayed in bed the whole day.
Minah stood outside his door, worried about him. She gently knocked on his door, hoping for a response.
-"Oppa, are you okay? Did you catch a cold?" Minah asked.
-"Ani, just leave me alone for a while.."
-"You've been laying there the whole day, and you haven't eaten yet."
-"I'm tired...Please go."
Minah walked back to her room with Jongin thinking she gave up. But instead, she came back unlocking his door with a spare key. She bursted into his room, giving Jongin a scare as he fumbled in between his sheets.
-"What's wrong with you? Can't you respect my privacy?" Jongin shouted.
-"Not when you're not okay, I thought I'm supposed to help you become a better person! Lately you've become worse than you originally were!" Minah fired back.
Minah shut her mouth closed, regretting her last sentence. Jongin stared at her with a blank expression.
-"Was this how you feel about me the whole time? Then why did you bring me here in the first place if you hated me!"
-"Because I was lonely!" Minah blurted out in anger.
Jongin looked at her with a shocked expression. Minah's lips trembled as tears went down her face. She brought her hands to her face sobbing and not wanting to look at Jongin. She ran out of the room slamming the door close before he could say anything.
He grabbed a fistful of his hair and screamed in anger. He started crying and shouting out how he hated it here, how he wanted to go back,
and how he hated Minah.
Days went by, none of them faced one another. Each left their rooms when they were sure the other one wasn't out. The only time they left their rooms is to get food, always rushing to go back before they accidentally face the other person.
It was 7 PM, Jongin sat alone in the kitchen staring blanking at the door. He put his head on the table and closed his eyes.
-"Jongin." She spoke.
Jongin stayed still, wanting to ignore her. But he needed answers.
-"I'm going to the store to buy food." She said before leaving.
He heard the front door open and close. He lifted his head up and sighed.
As he was walking back to his room, his eyes landed to Minah's room. He twisted the doorknob, noticing it was unlocked. He opened the door, noticing that her room was a total mess. Her blanket was on the ground, her bed sheets were wrinkled, clothes were on the ground.
He walked into the dim room and saw a book that stood out in the light of the lamp on the desk.
Suddenly, the front door opened.
