2. Seeing Him
Three of the four boys ran out on to the stage, smiling, waving and this stupid smile spread across my face. All nervousness disappeared and I looked up to see Luke Hemmings look straight at me, I blushed and turned to look at Lilly. She was pale in the face and had her hands over her mouth. "Oh my God they're real!" She whispered. "Hahaha yeah they are!" I laughed. Ashton danced around and made some cute faces and girls screamed, Calum flashed a smile at one corner of the arena and a high pitched scream showed she'd seen it. Finally Michael Clifford ran out on stage and the girls went mental, he smirked and glanced around. That's when I looked at Lilly and she just recovered when she points straight at the stage. I spun round quickly to see Michael looking straight at me, I went deep pink in the cheeks and giggled like a pathetic school girl. He saw and laughed.
They then played safety pin and answered a few questions and a fan asked them to play long way home so they agreed and I screamed. My favourite song of all time!
When they finished they said thank you and left, so we left to buy merchandise and food.
7:00pm the doors for the rest of the audience opened and it was chaotic. Lilly and I went back into the arena and got our seats, front row Michael's side. We didn't get a choice which side when booking but after soundcheck I was really happy to be his side. I was never a hard core Michael fan or Luke fan, I loved each of them for different things. But I was aware of a growing love for Michael and I felt stupid. The arena filled up and we got super excited all over again. The support act came on and within a minute we were stood instead of sitting and dancing around. There was a small break between them and 5SOS and they put on some music by artists they liked. AD/DC and green day came on and I screamed all the lyrics, but then teenage dirtbag came on and I was dancing and singing my heart out. This already felt like the best night of my life! The countdown began and thousands of high pitched screams filled the arena, the four Australians I seemed to worship ran out and immediately started playing outer space.
His fingers danced across the guitar automatically and i was completely fixed on him, it was almost hypnotic. I couldn't divert my eyes to any of the other three. What was he doing to me?! He's just a boy. I thought to myself, annoyed. The song came to an end and Luke started talking and I glanced up, conscious of someone looking at me, his emerald green eyes pierced my soul. I felt paralysed by his look. Our eyes locked and I eventually backed down and looked away. He laughed, put his hand through his hair and smirked. That was it. The smirk made my knees go weak, my stomach flip and I knew right there and then that something had changed inside myself.
