The days turned into weeks and soon it had been 2 months since Michael had got in contact with me to apologise and explain what had happened. Everyday for the past 2 months Michael had facetimed me without fail, he never missed the opportunity and always started the conversation by asking how my day had been and what I'd been up to. He always paid attention to me and focused on everything I said, even if I went off on tangents.
After about two weeks of facetiming him everyday, I began to realise my feelings towards him had shifted. They were no longer fangirly, childish and lustful but instead caring, loving and i was full of admiration for him. I hung on every word he said and I couldn't explain how deeply I cared for him. Almost as if he knew what had changed he brought up the subject of our relationship and we discussed it lightly until he asked "Y/N, what are we?"
"I honestly don't know, we're definitely friends but I can't deny that my feelings for you are growing everyday we talk. I think I'm falling in love with you." I prepared myself for the rejection but instead was pleased to see a stupid smile spread across his face.
"Yeah of course, I wouldn't lie to you."
"I have been waiting to hear that since I met you! So I guess I should do this properly..." He said readjusting his position until he was kneeling by his bed which he'd left his laptop on. He was now at eye-level with the camera and he looked directly at it.
"Mike, what are you doing?" I laughed at the boy who was staring at me with a stupid smile on his face.
"Y/N, will you do me the great honour of..." He stopped and laughed at my confused face and waited for effect, knowing it would piss me off. "Being my girlfriend?"
"Nah, I hate you!" I laughed, he pretended to look all hurt and held his heart. "Ugghh, I guess I will be your girlfriend then if you'll stop making that face." I smiled. He smiled at me and we continued to talk through the night until the early hours of the morning.
It's been 2 months since I said I'd be his girlfriend and they way we spoke did change slightly, it was no longer 'what are you planning to do?' it was 'what are we going to do?' We were now joined and our lives had been intertwined. Today I'm flying back to LA to start work again. My leg is fully healed now and so is my arm so I was eager to get home. I packed my things up, said goodbye to my parents again and traveled to the airport. I was waiting to board when I received a text from Michael, it read "Hey babe, (something else he'd started doing that made me go weak at the knees) what time does your flight get in? I thought I could get you a car that could bring you straight to mine? Only if you want to of course :) xx" I smiled at the message and replied instantly with "Yeah I'd like that! It gets in 14:15 your time, see you in a few hours! :) x" The announcer called my flight and I took one last look at the airport and the English shops and people that I wouldn't see for a while and went to my flight, knowing that at the end there would be a car to take me to Michael.
