Ophelia woke up on the ground, having no idea where she was. As she looked around, she noticed that she was not in her bedroom. She wasn't even in the same city that she was a day before. What she didn't know was that she wasn't even in the same world. As Ophelia looked around, she realized something. This world was exactly like the one in her imagination. There was not one difference. Everything was the same. How was this even possible? Was this a dream? As Ophelia got up, she saw a silhouette of what seemed like a man. When the person came near, Ophelia saw that he was a man probably in his thirty's.
"Ophelia, welcome! We've been waiting for you." The man said with excitement. A million questions went through Ophelia's mind when she heard that.
"Who are you? and how do you know my name?" Ophelia asked.
"My name is Lincoln Conrad and I'm a scientist. And how do I know your name? Well, that's a long story. Come with me to my lab and I'll tell you everything." Lincoln said.
"I came to your lab, I cleaned myself up and changed clothes, now can you answer my question?" Ophelia said with curiosity.
"This will sound impossible, but you have to believe me. Ophelia, you were born here. Not in this lab, but in this world. But because of my experiments to send people into other worlds, you were mistakenly sent to another world when you were 5. When you reached the other world, you lost your memories and you were adopted. After that, I started to communicate with you to remind you of this world. So, Ophelia, You didn't imagine this world; they were all my messages. I was trying to bring you here." Lincoln said.
"How do I know you're not lying?" Ophelia said.
"I figured you'd say that. Which is why I have this" Lincoln said, while handing her a potion. "It's a potion I invented. It will give you your memories back."
