My Babysitter (DISCONTINUED)

My name is Jessica Quin and I'm 17 years old.
I admit that I'm quite the trouble maker and I'm not very trust worthy when I'm left home alone but I don't see the need for a babysitter.
My mom thought it was an amazing idea to hire one though, typical mom.
Things did not go as planned.

8. School Adventures

Jessica's POV

I felt a dip in my bed and something touch my forehead.

I was about to happen to open my eyes but I started hearing muffled voices, I think that they were either entering my room or out in the hallway.

I decided to keep my eyes closed, just so I could eavesdrop, mostly cause it's fun!

"What the hell happened to her?"

"I don't know. I heard screaming and saw her gripping her bed sheets. She was sweating also, so I think that it may have been a nightmare, she seems calm now."

"Were you hurting her? Maybe you touched her and it scared her so she tried to calm down. I think that she was remembering a memory, maybe it's not a nightmare but more like reality."

"I can assure you, I didn't hurt her but I did hold her shoulders, I'm also putting a cold cloth on her forehead right now, well you can see that. You might be right Ash."

That's what's on my forehead!

How did Ashton figure all that out?

"Well, Cal, wake her up. We'll go get ready, we'll also make breakfast."

I heard 2 of them walk away and Calum started shaking my shoulders.

How come people shake other's shoulders to wake them up?

"I GET IT! I HAVE TO WAKE UP! LEAVE ME BE!" I exclaimed, waving away Calum's hands that kept on touching my shoulders.

"Sheesh." He muttered while walking out of my room, making sure to close the door behind him.

I tried to to get up off of my bed but instead I ended up falling onto my hardwood floor!

Why must I be like this?

"Shit." I said to myself while looking at my black door.

My legs hurt, therefore I don't want to walk, so I'll drag myself there!

I started using my arms to drag my body to the door so I could lock it.

Once I made it to the door, I lock it, THEN I got up off of the ground.

I walked to my closet, not even bothering to make my bed look nice since I'm not trying to impress anyone, well I never do.

Since I took a shower last night, I brushed my teeth and then I started getting dressed.

I basically just chose thin black tights and put maroon booty shorts on as well (keep in mind, I am still a teenage girl), I also put on a black and white baseball shirt that said: "CAUTION: I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE! SO LEAVE ME ALONE!" I put a black and grey plaid shirt on top of it but made sure that I didn't actually button it up.

My shirt may sound a bit rude but hey, it's a warning!

My grandma actually helped me pick that shirt!

I did my usual makeup but with matte maroon lipstick to match my shorts.

I brushed out my hair, put on my black and white high top converse then left my room!

I noticed that all the lights were on! AGAIN!

As I made my way downstairs, I stopped by all of the light switches and turned off the lights.

I noticed that in the gaming room, the TV was still on, as well as the lights!

I turned everything off and went to the kitchen to make my smoothie, when I did, I sat down in a beanbag chair and went on Tumblr because why not?

Michael and the other two sat down across from me and started talking obnoxiously loud.

"Okay boys, if you want to stay here, you have to at least be a bit respectful. Give respect, get respect and so far, none of you have any respect from me." I spoke up, hoping that they would at the very least quiet down.

"Fine, what are the so called 'rules' in this house?" Ashton smirked at me, as well as his weird ass friends.

"First of all, if you want to use MY gaming systems, turn them off when you're done. That's rule number one."

They all nodded at my first rule, so I continued speaking.

"Rule number two, don't wake me up unless I'm late! Rule number three! Unless I say you can go into my room, stay out. Rule number four, keep the lights off. Rule number five, don't touch my protein. Those are my rules, I will add more if I feel like it's necessary. Any problems?"

"What's up with you and keeping the lights off?" Michael asked.

"What's up with you and keeping the lights on?" I asked back. "Both of them are valid questions but I think that they're best fitted for something more like a debate." I added.

"Fair enough."

"Well, I'm gonna go to school now, goodbye!" I stood up and left my house, making sure to grab my bag.

My bag had my sketchbook and other artsy stuff, my keys (house keys, car keys, etc), money, earbuds and other stuff necessary for school that isn't already in my locker.

My schoolbag is black with small buttons on it with different bands I listen to as well as albums by those bands. Quite simple and cool actually.

I walked outside to see that the black Mercedes Benz was in the driveway, I just stared at it in shock and awe.

My mom and I use two cars, both of them are Mercedes but one is a small and black and the other car is big and white.

I was left with the small black one, which is the one I like best but my mom did take the bigger car.

Whatever, I was left with a black car so I will use the black car.

I got in, connected my phone to Bluetooth (so I can listen to music) and started driving to school.

I sang along to Green Day, Arctic Monkeys, Twenty One Pilots, My Chemical Romance and Nirvana before I arrived in the school's parking lot.

I got out of my car with my stuff, locked the door and started walking towards a large willow tree I claimed for me and the girls.

Quite a bit of people are scared of me, mostly because of the way I look (judgmental much!), so it was easy, I started sitting there, then people just avoided the tree knowing that I would soon be there.

I'm usually the first of the girls to get to school so I usually sit down on one of the wood benches underneath the tree and draw while listening to music.

I opened up my sketchbook and flipped the pages and saw an unfinished drawing of a lake I remember going to with my dad and brother when I was little.

I kept on humming along to my music and drawing until I noticed Mase running up to me, clearly very happy about something.

Some teenagers started staring at us like she's crazy and I my face turned as red as a tomato because of my best friend looking like she just lost all of her sanity.

"What Mase?" I asked her as she started getting closer to me and slowing down.

"Ok, so Jess, you know how Michael and his friends and stuff apparently "watch" other us? Yeah well they're on their way here! Like right now!" She attempted speaking properly and constantly waving her hands around and jumping up and down in that "hard" process.

"Why are you telling me this? I already know that." I raised my eyebrow at this "mature" girl.

"There's something else to it!" The expression on her face changed as she said that sentence, she looked, almost scared.

"What else Mase?"

"I can't tell you." She bowed her head down in shame, she regretted telling me that, she sure did.

Wait, was she threatened?

What did she mean by "there's something else to it?"

So many questions racing through my mind and I hoped to get the answer to at least one of them soon.

Hello there Earthlings and Aliens!

I am back!

Shocking, I know.

So thank you for supporting this book, it means a lot to me!

For those of you that only read this book then kept on commenting that I didn't update I will repeat what I said about a month ago.

I said that I would be taking a temporary break from writing and I would be back online publishing chapters soon.

So if you want to know when I will be updating these books, then I suggest you check my account at least once a week before commenting that you want more updates, it really makes it easier for me to focus on writing instead of occasionally  thinking that I need to update more often so the chapters will have more mistakes and they probably won't make much sense.

I did go back to school earlier this week so I have lots of work to do besides do this.
