The blazing sun had just started to dip below the horizon when a woman with long silver hair pulled a cigar out of a very expensive looking container. Her bright blue eyes shined through her glasses as she looked out of the large window behind her desk. Once the woman held the cigar in her mouth an older looking butler held up a lighter and with a slight smile lit the cigar before stepping back.
The retreating rays of sunlight shined across the woman's fair and flawless skin giving her the look of a beauty but her expression and stance showed a powerful woman who commanded the respect of all. She took a breath of her cigar before saying, "Walter, progress report."
The butler bowed before pulling out a letter from his pocket and giving his report. "Yes mam. According to local authorities every one of the victims had every ounce of blood drained from them. However, these attacks aren't from your normal garden variety vampire. There is no sign of bite marks anywhere on the body. Instead, it appears that all of the blood was drained through this vampire's fingers as there is only the wounds from fingers piercing the body. I think that it is safe to assume that whatever this new kind of vampire is it has no intentions of stopping any time soon. With this new batch the kill count has risen to over thirty and that's just the ones we know of. That is my full report on the matter."
The woman's expression remained calm but her eyes revealed the concern she held for the matter. If this new kind of vampire were only just created then there was a chance that there are even more than the one making itself known. The woman's brow furrowed as she took another puff of her cigar. She let out a long breath of smoke before closing her eyes.
While she stood there the shadows on the floor started to swirl and rise up from the ground. The shadows started to change and take the shape of a man. No. Not a man. A monster. Bloodlust and malice rolled off the figure in waves as the shadows became colored to reveal the true form of a true devil. Skin that looked as if it had never been graced by the sun's gaze, hair that was black as night, eyes that glowed with the color of blood, and a smile that would have frightened even the most courageous individuals.
The monster was dressed in a charcoal suit, leather riding boots, and an intricately knotted red cravat, covered by a full-length, and a red frock overcoat with cape. Atop the demon's head sat a red fedora with a wide, floppy brim and covering his eyes were a pair of circular, heavily tinted, wire-framed orange sunglasses with goggle sidings. The gloves he wore on his hands each had a five pointed seal adorning their backs revealing who commanded him.
A low chuckle sounded from the figure as he grabbed the fedora from his head and placed it over his heart. He gave a light bow and spoke to the silver haired woman before him, "My master, what are your orders?"
The woman turned around and said to the monster she commanded, "Alucard, search and destroy. I don't want this new kind of vampire to become any more of a nuisance than it already is. If there are any traces of more of these kinds of vampires you will seek them out and erase their existence from this earth."
Alucard, the ultimate and unstoppable vampire of the Hellsing organization, had now received his orders causing his grin to widen as he said, "Understood. I will follow your orders to the letter Miss Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing."
Alucard then vanished from sight into the darkness, his spine chilling chuckle echoing through the room as he left. The king of all vampires hadn't had a good challenge in decades but something told him this next target would prove to be very amusing. What he didn't know was that he would encounter a familiar face during his search for this new prey.
