The coffin was carried out and then the family got back into the cars and made their way to the top of the cemetery where Andrew Robert Wray was buried.

Bobby told everyone that they were more than welcome to come back to the Percy Main Club where there was food and free drinks for everyone.

Then people filed away and the family got back into the cars where they were later dropped at the club.

Bobby was right about the amount of food there was there was a mountain of it.

People came and gave there condolences and Bobby sure that his father’s music

Was played all afternoon and throughout the evening as well.’

Bobby even led them all in some line dancing.

It was a funeral that would have people talking about for years.’

They all went home with bags full of free food and a skin full of ale.

Steve left early and went down to the Black bull to let the painter and decorators in.’

Bobby took Martine home and told his mother that he would give her a ring. He told His Aunt and Uncle that he would call in at the week end.

He said goodbye to Judith and kissed his sister and told her that he’d be in touch.’

Good luck with the pub as well.’

Three weeks later…

A taxi waited outside the airport as Lucy Jackson returned from her holiday in St Tropez. She had met this rich playboy called Françoise Dubois who she had spent a night with in his fifteen million pound yacht. He had taken her out in it and she had eaten the finest food and drank copious amounts of Champagne.’ The next day he was gone and she was asked to leave.

She went back to her cheap hotel where she had hoped that she could snare another rich sugar daddy.’

But the years of boozing and high living had played havoc with her face and body. She had gained forty pounds and the lines were now all apparent on her face.

The taxi driver had to be asked to put her three cases into the boot where at one time they would be breaking their necks to do it for her.

She sat in the back of the car and gave the driver the address it began to absolutely toss it down with rain and she pushed the sunglasses on top of her head. Her hair had been highlighted and she was wearing a long summer dress.

The driver never even spoke as he drove her back home. Twenty two pounds please said the driver as he dumped her cases on the Kerb. She paid him and gave him a five pound tip then he drove away. She turned around and looked for her house that was all cordoned off.  She dragged the cases to the gate and was met by to men.

“Lucy Jackson.’

“Yes she said in her sexiest voice.’

“Would you mind coming with us please?’

“Oh where to; and what’s happened to my house?’

“Well we need to ask you that down at the station.’

They read Lucy her rights and told her that she was under arrest.’

“I haven’t done anything and what about my cases.

“We will take care of those.’
