Drifting apart

People change its just human nature as you get older you change and so do your friends. I was too naïve to think that he would drift apart and meet new people. I never forgot him. He was always in the back of my mind.

2. Long year

Jenna continued to blabber about how Math class is so boring and how she's not going to need it when she becomes a FBI agent ( we're both addicted to criminal minds ) I wandered from the conversation and my eyes drifted to Calum's table behind Jenna close to the window. Me and Calum met in Kindergarten he was my best friend. He was always there for me up until freshman year. He became captain for the football team ( soccer) and met new friends. At first I didn't see it coming but Calum soon drifted and the last time I spoke to him was in freshman year. " Jade lunch is over let's go." Jenna said notifying me in an annoyed tone. I stood up following Jenna to her locker. She pulled out our books and we headed to History in Mrs. Mickinney's class. I walked into class and sat down next to Jenna. We talked until the bell rang and Mrs. McKinney walked in Calum trailing behind her. " Class this is Calum hood he's transferring from Mr. Fishers class due to behavior issues." I rolled my eyes, I knew the old Calum would never get in trouble for behavior problems. "Since you can't behave and go sit next to Jade, Jade raise your hand." I raised my hand blushing from embarrassment. He slowly walked over to the desk next to mine and sat down huffing. This is gonna be a hella long year.
