Cold as ice itself, and pale as the snow itself, Michael Clifford is not the type of 6ft boy you should be messing with, unless it's a death with you are asking for. But when someone crosses his path, his entire life turns all the way around, and maybe he might just show his soft spots.

32. Gone

I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket but I ignore it since I'm in band practice.

'There are only ten more minutes left,' I think to myself.

As I strum the guitar my head starts to wonder who it's from.

My mom?

Maybe something came up and she can't pick me up.

It's probably her.

I check my phone to see I have a missed call from Adelaide.

I drop my phone on the ground and stare at it in shock.

"She's... She's alive," I say out loud.

I run out of the door and start running towards Adelaide's house.

I knock on the door loudly and her parents open it, they try to close it on me but I run into the house.

I burst her bedroom door open and she's not there. I knock on the bathroom door and there isn't any answer.

I slowly open it and I see a pale, lifeless Adelaide.

I stand there in shock, my mouth agape and my body frozen.

"She's gone."
