A L E X A N D R A
What the heck? Why em’ I leaning on his shoulder?
I quickly got my head off his shoulder. I decided that I'd look out the window like that never happened. I got my iPad out. I went to my playlist and I put it on shuffle. The first song that played was If I'm James Dean, You're Audrey Hepburn.
I love this song. I remember when I first meet Spencer. She had this Sleeping With Sirens shirt. I saw that she was walking alone so I stopped what I was doing and I ran straight up to her just to talk to her. At first I thought she didn't like me. But every day I saw her walking alone so I kept walking by her side and I talked to her. After a while me and Spencer finally became best friends. Who would have known that we were sisters?
I was looking out the window still thinking of how weird I was when I was a child. Still am. Then as I sat there, I felt someone touch my thigh. I turned faster than hell. I saw that it was the squishy faced boy, grinning like a kid in a candy store. I slapped his hand away from my thigh. "What the hell is wrong with you?" I asked, becoming rather pissed off.
"Oh, nothing," He said smirking, trying to touch my thigh again.
"Fuck you. Don't do that ever again," I snapped.
This shithead is really pissing me off. "Hey sorry for that. I guess Calum here doesn't know how to keep his hands to himself," Some blonde boy came out of nowhere. Probably the dude's friend. "Oh and I'm Luke," He said while smiling.
"Alexandra," I said.
"That's cool," Another boy showed up. He had blue hair. And if I may add blue is my favorite color.
"I'm Michael," He said smiing.
"Cool," I said.
"I know this is weird but can one of you trade seats with him," I pointed towards 'Calum'. “Please.”
"Sure," Michael said getting up and trading seat with Calum.
"Thank you," I thanked Michael.
"No problem," He said sitting down.
The rest of the plane ride wasn't so long. But the whole time me and Michael were laughing and talking. I learned a lot about him and he learned a lot about me. He told me that he was in a band with Luke, Calum, and some other guy named Ashton. I thought that was cool. He was surprised that I didn't know them.
Before we got off the plane we exchanged phone numbers. When Michael went with his band members, I was rejoined with Spencer. Spencer nudged me. "You were lucky you had cute boys sitting next to you," I just shook my head at her.
"I had to sit next to and woman and a baby. And the baby cried the whole way," Spencer said annoyed .
"Are you serious? That must have sucked," I said.
"Yeah. And I almost died as we got into the air. I can't even believe I stuck through that...So how was your ride?" Spencer asked, wiggling her eyebrows.
"At first it sucked 'cause this boy didn't know how to keep his hands to himself. And he was just a total douche. But then this guy named Michael traded places with him. Michael was actually really cool. And well we became friends!" I laughed.
"Really," Spencer said with her eyebrows raised.
"Well at least one of us enjoyed the plane ride." Spencer laughed before we walked to the place where you wait for your bags and that stuff.
My phone went off. I looked at who it was from. Wow. It's from Mike-Ro-Wave. Wow Michael.
It said, "let's meet up at Panda Express at 8:00 :-)"
I replied," okay Mikey :)"
"Hey Spencer we should go to Panda Express!" I told her.
Spencer smiled with excitement. Then we walked to this one area to get our rental car. When we got our vehicle it was a Dodge Challenger. I wanted to drive but I was scared. Plus it was stick shift and I didn't know how to drive stick shift yet. So Spencer drove and she loved it because she loves to drive. And also the Challenger was black. Her favorite color.
"where you @?" He texted me.
"on our way we just now got our car" I replied back to him.
I set my phone down. We saw the nearest Panda Express. We parked the car and walked in. Thankfully there was Michael. When he noticed me he ran straight up to me and hugged me. "Best Friend I missed you," Michael exclaimed.
"Hedoo," I laughed.
"Who is this?" He asked looking at Spencer.
"This is my friend," I said pointing to her and she waved at him.
"I'm Michael," he smiled at her.
"Spencer," she introduced herself. Which surprised me. Usually she doesn't talk. She only talks to me, her brother Aaron, and my ex boyfriend Hunter.
"Cool name," Michael smiled down at her.
"Thanks," Spencer mumbled, smiling but her gaze fell down to the floor.
"Come on," I told the both of them and we got in line.
"Is that Calum guy here?" I asked, hoping he wasn't around but also hoping he was so I could get mad at him for earlier.
"Yeah... why, did you miss him?" He laughed and I just rolled my eyes playfully before he had to order his food.
"Hey who's that?" Spencer asked, dragging me out of my thoughts, and pointed to Luke walking in.
"Didn't you meet him earlier with Michael?" She asked, looking away from him and back to me.
"Yeah. His name's-"
"Hey... Alexandra, right?" Shit. Not this prick.
"Yeah." I replied, turning around to face him and continued, "what do you want?"
"No need to be rude." Calum pretended to pout, crossing his arms over his chest.
"I wouldn't have to if you weren't such a dick when I first met you." I snapped, turning around and groaned when I seen Spencer wasn't near.
"Who you looking for? Your boyfriend?" Calum asked as I turned back to face him again.
"No, my woman!" I lied but made my tone sound serious just to see his reaction. And I admit it was enough to make anybody laugh their asses off.
"Your-...your... like that?" He asked, his eyes becoming wide as he spoke.
"Heck yeah!" I said, trying not to laugh.
"Damn... I always found it hot when two girls would make out." He smirked and that took a totally wrong turn.
"Dude! You do know I was kidding right?!" I exclaimed, slapping his arm hard.
"Really? You seemed pretty serious about it." He questioned, smirking the entire time.
"Yes. I'm serious. I'm definitely straight. And I would never kiss a girl. Ever." I said sternly, trying to make sure he got the point.
"You sure? Even if it was a dare or something?" He asked, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Yes. And if it was a dare I still wouldn't do it." I told him.
"You sure?" He asked raising his eyebrows while smirking.
"I am sure. Its just gross," I said turning around and walking up to Michael.
I noticed that Spencer was right behind me. "What an asshole," She whispered.
I did this gesture that meant yeah. "Whatchya doing, Mikey?" I asked.
"Not much just standing in line,"he said. "What 'bout you babe?"
"Same as you,” I asked and he just shrugged in response.
He just chuckled. Then he scooted forward and ordered what he wanted.
Then Spence and I were up. "Hey you order for me," I said walking to the bathroom.
I walked into the bathroom to see something quite unpleasant. It was Calum fucking girl on the bathroom sink. "What the fuck!" I exclaimed.
I ran out the bathroom to see Spencer with our food sitting next to Michael and the others. So I sat down next to Luke. We started to talk about some random things.
But one thing caught my attention, "PARTY". I haven't been to one. And since I'm in L.A. Why the hell not. It sounds fun. "When's the party?" I asked the boys.
"Tonight a-" Luke was interrupted by Calum.
"9:30," Calum said licking his lips.
I laughed 'cause Calum's fly was down. Then Luke just stared at Calum disapprovingly. Calum just shrugged his shoulders, not even caring.
We all started to eat in peace. But was ruined because Calum's phone kept ringing of the hook. It was seriously getting really annoying. But he kept pushing the ignore button. "Pick up the bloody phone," Ashton snapped.
"No," he said stuffing the rest of his food in his mouth and shutting his phone off.
What a pig.
"Who the hell is calling you anyway?" Spencer snapped. Whoa. Spencer is never like this. But when she is... people should keep their distance.
"None of your goddamn business." Calum growled at her and I swear she would've strangle him. Oh did I mention Spencer has an anger problem. It's like the story of Jekyll and Hyde. During school days she's be the nicest person you'd even meet. But at night sometimes shit could go down at any minute.
"Whatever," Spencer rolled her eyes, continuing to eat her food.
"Hey... what time is it?" I asked literally no one.
"9:00," Calum replied, quickly.
"We're going to that party aren't we?" Spencer asked me.
"Yeah, you guys gonna come with us aren't you?" I asked the four boys.
"Yeah," Ashton answered for them.
"Well, we're gonna go get ready... see you guys later?" I asked, getting up out of my seat and Spencer soon followed my action.
"Yeah," they all said in sync.
Spencer and I left Panda Express and drove to our hotel, which happened to only be a couple blocks away.
"What do you think of that Calum dude?" I asked her after we were a block away.
"To be honest... I'd like him a little more if you didn't meet him," She sighed, running her fingers through her fringy bangs, a small habit of hers.
In case you didn't know, yes Spencer is considered an emo.
She's always been like this. People thought she was weird because she liked screamo and heavy metal music. And technically it isn't our fault she likes it. She's the one who actually got me into that kind of music.
According to Spencer and I quote, "it just gives me a feeling that you won't be able explain,"
Where as I just like how it sounds. It's cool. Some of the songs we listen to are so meaningful we could relate to them.
Like the song A Trophy Fathers Trophy Son by Sleeping with Sirens. Spencer and I both sorta relate to it. The only thing is, it that she knew our dad. And one day he just left without a word.
And I know she wouldn't change the life she has right now for anything in the world. And neither would I.
