7. The Room of Requirement
"WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG!??" Newt exploded, his face red. "I WAS SO WORRIED!! I though something had gone wrong!! What if you had been seen, or-"
"Newt! Calm!" I said. Newtons face slowly drained of color until it was back to it's normal paleness. "You guys just happened to visit on a full moon. I was in wolf form. Didn't you wonder why I brought a wolf to the room instead of a kid?" I laughed.
"Well, that was obvious." Said Skylar.
"I was just-just under pressure that was all. Im sorry for losing my temper." He sat down one of the cushions. "I really hope this works."
"You're telling me!" I laughed. There was silence.
"We best be getting back to Ravenclaw tower. We have history of magic in a half hour." Sky said, picking up her bag and marching out of the room. Newt and I followed suit.
History of Magic seemed to drag on like the week before christmas. Me, Sky and Newt dragged our feet from History of Magic, to Transfiguration, then Charms, on to Care of Magical Creatures. We all wolfed down our lunch (no pun intended) and sprinted down to the Room of Requirement. Flinging open the door, we barged into the familiar room. Newt plopped himself down on his desk chair and flipped through the pages of a book titled: Animagi; What Now? . His eyes scanned the page eagerly, drinking in every letter he saw. Finally he spoke.
"OK!!!" He said, estatic. All we have to do is practice. We have to repeat a nonverbal spell until we change. Then say it in reverse until we change back. Simple enough," we nodded. "The incantation is as follows: Hominum ut Animal!!"
