4. The Plan

Hey there! Thanks for reading!! I hope you like what I have written so far. If you have any suggestions please don't be afraid to let me know in the comment section. Please stick with me as we are reaching the point in the story where ever single detail is critical to remember for the climax. I appreciate likes and comments! Thanks so much!

At exactly 9:00 P.M, me and Skylar slipped into the room of requirement. We had both come under the cloak, using my map to dodge Filtch and Professor McGonagal. Newt had been a no show to the rest of our classes that day. He had even missed dinner. He wasn't even in the library when I checked. For other students, this would not have been so unusual, except for the fact that Newton was a Ravenclaw, therefor had never missed a single one of his lessons. Until now.

When we stepped inside, my first impression was that we were in the library. That was until I noticed how much nicer the shelves were, and how different the books were that I remembered we were in the Room of Requirement. There was a corner with everything you could ever need to make a potion, all splayed out neatly on the shelves. There was any kind of cauldron desirable on a rotating cauldron wheel, and a giant cupboard filled with ingredients.

Newt himself was sitting behind a desk in the far corner. He had a huge stack of books on his desk, and a chalk board behind him was filled with illustrations of humans and animals alike, along with a peculiar hour glass.

"Newt?" said Sky. Newt jumped.

"Finally, you're here," He said, his voice extremely fast, as it always was when he was exited. "I have so much to tell you. Pull up a puff." He said, motioning to several beanbags. I belly flopped on a big squashy blue one, staring at Newt expectantly.

"Spill." I said simply.

"Well," He said, "I guess I'll cut right to the chase. I have sent a few owls. Including to your father, Ted. He says he is glad we are accepting your identity, and he also told me how to help you cope with your problem. We... We are going to become animaguses." Here he paused, relishing the effect he had caused. Skylar had fallen off her beanbag, and my head had snapped up from my comfortable position.

"WHAT?!" I yelped, my eyes wide. "NO WAY! You cannot put your lives in risk just to be with me on my transformations!" I growled. "No. Way. I won't allow it."Newt laughed.

"I didn't ask you to allow it mate. Just listen." He observed me. I calmed and sat back down, without realizing I had even stood. "Fine. But I won't like it." Newt smiled.

"If we, including you, me and Sky- don't ask questions, don't interrupt!- were to become animaguses, we would all be together at the full moon. Though you are a werewolf, Ted, I've researched it and I believe that if you became an animagus,- which will presumably be a wolf- if you transform into your animal's form at the time in which you would regularly be a werewolf, you would not, in fact, have to be a werewolf at all." I stared at him in awe. "And you're sure this will work?" I squeaked. "Positive." He replied, a grin on his face.
