6. Chapter Five

Brittany's POV

When I woke up, I was lying in the sand. I could hear people screaming. I quickly sat up, and imminently regretted it.

Blood rushed to my head, and laid right back down. I put my hand on my head and I felt liquid. When I pulled my hand away, it was red with blood.

"Brittany!" Louis screamed and ran over to me. He kneeled down onto the ground and pulled me into a hug. "Oh my god, you're okay!"

"What happened?" I asked, even though I already knew the answer.

"The plane, it crashed," Louis said. He wouldn't let go of me.

"Louis!" Harry screamed. "Come help!"

I looked to the sound of where Harry's voice was coming from. I saw him walking out of the plane with someone is his arms.

"I'll be right back. Stay here," Louis said and gave me a kiss before running back into the scrap metal that was the plane.

I looked around frantically, and saw that some people were running into the plane can caring people out. "Meghan! Perrie!" I yelled when I saw them. They ran over to me, and hugged me.

"Are you okay?" Meghan asked as she ended the hug, but she kept her hands on my shoulders. "Oh my god, your head!"

"I'm fine," I said. My head was throbbing, but that was all. Well, other than the fact that I was freaking out about everything. "Are you guys okay?" I asked and they both nodded.

I took Danny out of Perrie's arms and hugged him to me. "Are you okay?" I asked him and he nodded. "Where are the boys?"

"Their running into the plane to get people out," Perrie explained and I could tell that she was about okay with that as I was.

"What!" I yelled. "They need to get out! It looks like it's about to cave in!"

"I know," Meghan said with tears in her eyes. "We tried to stop them, and they wouldn't listen."

Part of the plane fell in, and everyone screamed. The girls and I ran over to the plane, and saw each of the boys carrying someone out. We reached them as they were about to go back in.

I grabbed Louis shirt with my one free hand, Meghan grabbed Liam and Niall's, and Perrie grabbed Zayn's and Harry's.

"Don't go back in," I pleaded. My eyes were full of tears.

"You've done enough," Meghan said with tears streaming down her face.

"Just come back with us," Perrie added, crying as well.

The boys shared a look, and they all shook their heads. Right before they went back into the plane, I felt a horrible pain in my stomach.

"Ahhhh!" I screamed in pain and I bent forwards. I grabbed Danny to me so I wouldn't drop him.

"Brittany!" Meghan and Perrie yelled in unison, and it made the boys turn back.

"Ahhhhh!" I screamed again and fell to my knees. Perrie took Danny from me and the boys ran out from the plane. "Ahhhh!" I yelled. Tears were streaming down my face from all the pain. I almost fell over, but Niall caught me.

"What's wrong?" Louis shouted as the boys surrounded me.

"Ahhhh!" I yelled again. I couldn't answer. It hurt too much.

Niall picked me and carried me far away from the plane. Everyone followed, and when he laid me down, Louis fell to my side.

"What's wrong!" he yelled again. I couldn't answer, but Meghan did for me.

"She's having contractions, you idiot!"

"What!" All the boys yelled.

Then the rest of the plane crashed down. The engines stopped, and the only sounds were people screaming.

"What!" Zayn screamed again.

"Ahhhhh!" I cried. I nodded my head to confirm that Meghan was right.

"But, but, but, but," all the boys said together.

"She's not due yet!" Niall said worriedly.

Liam was the first to regain his composer. "Guys!" he yelled. "Go and see if there's a doctor anywhere."

All the boys except Louis and Liam ran off towards the crowd of people. He stayed where he was, and took my hand.

Danny started screaming, and it was probably because someone he knew was in so much pain. Perrie tried to calm him, but it wasn't working.

"I'm so sorry," Lou said to me. "This is all my fault."

I squeezed his hand and clamped my teeth together. A whimper escaped my mouth, but I held in my scream.

"It's not," I said and shook my head. "It's not," I repeated.

The boys showed up a few minutes later.

"There is a doctor," Zayn gasped, trying to catch his breath.

"But he's treating the wounded," Harry finished.

"Tell him to get here now!" Louis screamed. I squeezed his hand and shook my head.

"They need him more than I do," I said.

"But you're having a baby!" Louis yelled. "What are we supposed to do! Who's going to deliver it?"

"I've got it," Liam said calmly and I looked at him like he was insane. "I'll do it."

I didn't even have the strength to argue. I just nodded my head, and Liam went into Daddy Direction mode.

"Guys, go around and get as many towel, hand sanitizers, scissors and alcohol as you can." All the guys but Liam and Louis ran off again. "Perrie, go over there," Liam said and pointed away from the crowd of people, "and try and calm down Danny. We don't need anything else stressing Brittany out." Perrie headed where Liam pointed without arguing. "Meghan," he told his girlfriend, "Get behind Britt's head and hold her up."

Meghan kneeled down behind my head and rested my head on her lap.

"Brittany," Meghan said quickly, "Stop freaking out. Everything's going to be okay. You're going to be fine. You're baby's going to be fine. Everything is going to be fine. Nothing is going to go wrong. You're going to stay okay. Nothing's going to happen. Nothing's going to happen. Nothing's going to hap-," Meghan got cut off and I heard a sound like someone clapping really hard, but really it was Louis hitting Meghan across the face to calm her down.

"Stop freaking out!" Louis screamed and Meghan nodded. I squeezed Louis's hand again, and whimpered in pain as the boys ran up. They were all carrying the things that Liam asked for.

"Go over to Perrie and help her," Liam instructed and Niall and Zayn looked they wanted to argue, but they just went where they were told. Harry, on the other hand, kneeled down beside me.

Liam was about to tell him to leave, but I gave him a look that said otherwise. I just took Harry's hand in mine to make sure that he stayed.

"Brittany," Liam said and looked at me. "This is only going to be awkward if we make it awkward."

I gave him a look of confusion, but when he handed Louis and Harry towel to hold up, I knew what was about to happen. He took off my pants and underwear and bent up my knees. Then he took the towel and laid it over them.

"Okay," he said and looked at me again. "Now push."

I squeezed my legs tightly together and shook my head.

"Brittany," he gave me a pleading look.

"I'm not having my baby in the middle of fucking nowhere!"

"You need to."

"It hurts!" I yelled.

"I know it does, but the sooner you start to push, the sooner it over," he said calmly.

I didn't care. I wouldn't move my legs and I shook my head furiously.

"Brittany," Louis told me. "Do it."

"Under one condition," I said and everyone nodded. "You all tell me something that you've never told anyone."

"Why?" Meghan asked, but before I could say anything, Louis shouted out his answer.

"Harry and I have made out before," he said and I gave him a look that said, 'are you fucking serious?' He nodded.

"Meghan and I broke the 'Pregnancy Rules!" Liam added. We all looked at him, and then Harry and Louis gave him a quick high five.

"Brittany and I are Fuck Buddies!" Harry announced.

I didn't even look at him. I was hoping that Harry would say that since this was the one moment that I knew Louis couldn't get mad at me.

"What!" Louis screamed and looked at me. When I nodded, he punched Harry in the face. Harry recovered quickly, and before Louis could punch him again, Meghan shouted out something that no one was expecting.

"I'm a part time drug dealer!"

We all looked at her in shock. Before any of us could say anything, I had my worst contraction yet.

"Brittany!" Liam screamed and I parted my legs.

I spent the next fifteen minutes screaming. I was in the most pain that I have ever been in. Even having Brett wasn't even close to this bad. Then again, I was given medication to help with the pain.

I squeezed Louis and Harry's hands so hard, that I felt something pop. I wasn't really worried about that since I was having a baby, but it passed through my mind.

All the pain stopped when I heard the sound of my baby crying. I sat and saw my sweet little baby girl. Liam had Louis come over and cut the umbilical cord. Then he wrapped my baby up in a towel and handed her to me.

I couldn't even think of anything to say. I just stared at her and I felt tear fall from my eyes, and this time, they weren't from pain.

I saw Liam, Harry and Meghan stand up and walk towards my group of friends, which just left Louis and I. When I looked at him, I saw that he had the biggest smile on his face and tears in his eyes.

"Are you about to cry Tomlinson?" I asked him and he quickly wiped his tears away as he sat down by me.

"No, my eyes are just sweating," he said defensively and I laughed.

"Wanna hold her?"

"Don't be a pansy," I said and carefully passed her to Louis and then grabbed my shorts and put them back on.

"Hi," he told her as he held her tightly. "You don't look like an alien anymore," he said and we both laughed a little. "You're so pretty."

"Lou," I said and looked at him. "You're eyes are sweating again."

"I know," he replied, but he didn't wipe away his tears this time. "Do you have a name for her?"

I shook my head. "I had twin names, but not names for her."

"What were the twin names?"

"Luke and Leia," I said and Louis laughed.

"Are you serious?"

"Not at all," I replied with a smile.

"Should we call everyone over?" Louis asked and I looked towards my friends who looked like they were about to run over here.

"Of course," I replied and gestured towards them and they sprinted over.

"Me first!" Niall yelled. "She's my niece!" No one wanted to argue with the loud little Irishmen, so I just nodded and he carefully took the baby from Louis.

After everyone held her, Liam passed her back to me and said, "Have you thought of a name for her?"

"Actually," I started, "I thought that we could all decide as a group."

Really?" Meghan asked and I nodded.

"If you think of a name, speak up," Louis said, and everyone went into deep thought for a moment, then the shouting began.

"Delilah!" Harry shouted, and everyone stopped talking. We all looked at each other and smiled.

"So," I said, "have we all decided on a name?" Everyone nodded. "Hey there Delilah." I said to my little baby.

"What's it like in New York City?" Louis added.

"I'm a thousand miles away," Zayn sang.

"But tonight you look so pretty," Harry added.

"Yes you do," all the boys sang together.

"The Times Square can't shine as bright as you," Liam sang.

"I swear it's true," they sang together.

"Hey there Delilah, don't you worry about the distance."

"I'm right there if you get lonely give this song another listen."

"Close your eyes."

"Listen to my voice it's my disguise."

"I'm by your side," they sang together.

"Oh it's what you do to me."

"Oh it's what you do to me."

"Oh it's what you do to me."

"Oh it's what you do to me."

"What you do to me."

"Hey there Delilah, I know that times are getting hard."

"But just believe me girl, someday I'll pay the bills with this guitar."

"We'll have it good, we'll have to life we knew we would."

"My word it good."

"Hey there Delilah, I've got so much left to say."

"If every simple song I wrote you."

"Would take your breath away, I'd write it all."

"Even more in love with me you'd fall, we'd have it all."

"Oh it's what you do to me."

"Oh it's what you do to me."

"Oh it's what you do to me."

"Oh it's what you do to me."

"A thousand miles away seems pretty far."

"But they've got planes and trains and cars."

"I'd walk to you if I had no other way."

"Our friends would make fun of us."

"And we'll just laugh along because we know."

"That none of them have felt this way."

"Delilah I can promise you."

"That by the time we get through."

"The world will never be the same."

"And you're to blame."

"Hey there Delilah."

"You be good and don't you miss me."

"Two more years and you'll be done with school."

"And I'll be making history like I do."

"You'll know it's all because of you."

"We can do whatever we want to."

"Hey there Delilah here's to you."

"This one's for you."

"Oh it's what you do to me."

"Oh it's what you do to me."

"Oh it's what you do to me."

"Oh it's what you do to me."

"What you do to me."

"I feel like the only reason we all agreed on the name is because of that song," I said when the boys were done singing.

"That, and the fact that Louis sang 'Hey There Delilah' and then made it into One Direction," Meghan commented.

That's when everyone realized what had just happened.

We were just in a plane crash, and there were hurt people everywhere.

"We should go help," Liam said and jogged off. Everyone except myself followed. I saw Louis run up to Harry and whisper something in his ear, and then Harry turned back around and made his way back to me.

"Hi," I said to him as he sat down by me.

"Hi yourself," he replied and put his arm around me. "She's frickin' adorable," he said as he looked at my baby.

"Now forty percent of One Direction has children," Harry pointed out.

"And forty percent of One Direction is in a relationship. Yet, none of that forty percent is in the other forty percent."

"You know that's not true," Harry said and I gave him a weird look.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Sixty percent of One Direction is in a relationship, and twenty percent of the sixty percent have a kid together." I understood what he was saying.

"Louis and I are not in any sort of relationship."

"But you are, and you just don't want to admit it."

"What do you want me to say?" I demanded. "That I'm in love with Louis and that he'll never love me back?"

"But he does love you."

"Only because of her," I said and gestured to the now sleeping baby that was in my arms.

"Okay, so there's something that I've wanted to tell you for a long time but I didn't because I wanted you to figure it out for yourself."

"Which is?" I asked.

"Louis been in love with you seen you were carried through the door duct taped."

"Lying is bad," I said.

"No, lying to yourself is bad." I was about to start talking, but Harry cut me off. "I've seen the way that he looks at you. It didn't become noticeable until we got into that car accident." I tried to start talking again, but Harry wouldn't let me. "Have you seen how protective he is of you? He's worse than Niall. When I told him that we've been Fuck Buddies, he didn't punch me because you were having his kid. He did it because I was sleeping with the person that he's in love with."

"But-," I started.

"No buts and no talking," he said sternly. "Louis is in love with you, and not just because of Delilah. Yes, that does make him love you more, but it's not the only reason. Please, go talk to him when he comes back. Tell him how you feel. Tell him how much you love him, and if you don't, then I will. He deserves to know. I honestly think he thinks that you hate him. Whenever you'd tell him 'no' when he would propose to you, I could see a bit of him dying inside, even though he would act all happy."

"Shut up. When he proposed at Disney World and you told him no, he broke down. I had to pull him aside and away from the rest of the boys so they didn't see how hurt he really was. He loves you Brittany, and you love him. You just need to except the fact that you two are perfect together."

I could feel tears in my eyes. I put my face into Harry's shoulder and started to cry. "I'm a terrible person," I cried.

"You are, and you can fix everything by just telling him how you feel."

"He deserves someone so much better than me," I sobbed.

"No, you deserve someone so much better than him, but I don't think that someone like that exists."

After a few minutes, Harry had calmed me down. We just sat on the sand together as the screaming of the people faded, and everyone started to become calm.

"I love you," Harry said to me and gave me a kiss on my head.

"I love you too," I replied and I saw Harry smirk.

"Not as much as you love Louis."

When everyone walked back over, I handed Delilah to Meghan, and I had Liam held me stand up. I was in an incredibly large amount of pain, but I just tried to ignore it as I walked over to Louis.

"Can we go talk?" I asked him and he smiled and nodded. I took his hand and walked away from everyone.

When we got about a hundred feet away, I sat down and he sat by me.

"What do you want to talk about?"

"About our relationship," I stated and he chuckled at that.

"Whenever I try to talk to you about that, you always ignore me or change the subject."

"I will not deny the fact that I have done that in the past, but it is now the present and we should focus on the future."

"Did Harry help you come up with that?" Louis asked and I nodded.

"He helped me come up with everything that I'm about to say."

"Let's hear it."

"I know exactly how I feel about you. I've known for quite a while. It's just, I never thought that you felt the same."

"Shhhhh," I hushed. "I knew how you told me how you felt about me, I just never believed it. I assumed that you were saying everything that did so you wouldn't seem like the arse hole who knocked up a girl and didn't get into a relationship with her."

"I said shhhhh. I know now that I was wrong. Harry told me everything, and I don't know why I didn't see the truth before. You were being honest. You weren't just saying those things to say them. You were saying them because you actually meant them. I was a terrible person for thinking that you were lying to me. I made an arse out of myself so many times, and I see that now. I'm sorry for everything. I'm so sorry."

"Are you done?" Louis asked and I nodded. "Brittany, when I've told you how I felt, that was just brushing the surface. I could never describe to you all that I feel. I love you so very much, and I'm sorry that you thought I was lying to you. Honestly, if I was you, I would have thought the same. I didn't tell you how I felt until a time when you thought that it was lie. I should have told you earlier, and I did."

"You were in a coma. I told you absolutely everything, but I should have waited another few days until you were awake. It's just, I didn't think that I could take it if you would have turned me down."

"I wish that I could've remembered. It would have made things so much easier."

"It's not your fault. You were asleep and I knew that there was a chance that you wouldn't remember anything. I wanted you to remember so badly, but in the back of my mind, I wanted you to forget. I thought that everything would be more complicated if we ever got into a relationship. I thought that the boys would be angry and that management wouldn't approve of any of it, but I was wrong."

As Louis talked, we looked into each other's eyes, and I could tell that he really did mean every word that he was saying.

"Everyone loves you. Some of the fans might be jealous, but so what. I don't want any of them. I want you. You're perfect. You're the nicest, prettiest, most loving person that I have ever met and I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

"And I with you," I told him and both of our smile grew. He stood out and got down onto one knee. I turned my head and saw that my friends and many of the plane passengers were in a small crowd looking at us.

"Brittany Tom," Louis said and pulled the ring box that I have seen so many times. "Will you marry me?"

"Louis," I said slowly and I could see his face drop a little. "This is the proposal that I've wanted. It's one of the most amazing, yet simple ways to ask. Of course I'll marry you!"

I sat up on my knees and through my arms around Louis neck and kissed him. The crowd of people cheered and my friends came running over. Louis took the ring out of the box and put it on my left hand.

"Finally!" they all yelled as they reached us. Louis and I were suddenly in the middle of a group hug. Somehow my little baby made it into my arms, and this was probably the most perfect moment in my life.
