2. Chapter 2
Someone was texting me after school.. alot.
It was my mom freaking out about her not being able to pick me up and she was saying how she was frightened to let me walk on my own. She just told me to be careful and get home.
I realized she wasnt gonna be home for at least 3 hours. So i had endless possibilities to do. My dad was working and my sisters were at school. My choices were between going home and do things like any other day or wandering around the city.
I chose to roam around the city. As I walked into a thrift store i heard a familiar voice. The boy that had come up to me two days ago was there. I panicked because I never have human contact so i usually dont function properly. I set my mind on pretending he wasnt there. But just as i saw a band tee i picked up, he spotted me and i could feel his eyes on me, I felt hot and embarrassed.
As usual i tried to convince myself nothing was going on, then of course my ringtone has to go off (my favorite song by Santa Cruz) it was strange though because i looked at my phone and i had no calls. I thought i was now hearing things. Until i finally felt his eyes drift off from me so i looked up and we had the same ringtone, I was impressed, i have only met a few people before with the same rad taste in music as me.
He hung up his phone got in line to pay for something and left, and i did the same. When he left the store i noticed he again turned around and glanced at me for what seemed like forever.
I got out the store and started walking to my home and i remember hearing a really loud Guns n Roses song which definitely caught my attention, of course it had to be him, again in his car. I really didnt know what crazy thing was on my mind because i saw him driving to the other side of town which i have never been to, only when i go to my best friends house but i still followed him.
Everything was unfamiliar, it was strange- I didnt know where he was going and i was confused why i did this. I wanted to go back home but i lost him and lost myself so i just wandered the city. I saw a familiar street, my best friends house. I knew i shouldn't have gone because he doesnt like it when i go without telling him so i texted him quickly asking if he was available. Of course he had to say he was still at school, his usual excuse. But I knew how to get home now as everything was slowly coming back to memory.
