5. A German Breakup
I remember that day so well. It was morning and we were all in the commons, except for Jade. It was about 8:45 so school had already started. When Jade came moping in the door to homeroom. (Jade, Chloe and I were all in the same homeroom).
"You're fifteen minutes late Ms. Newman." Mrs. Lyonold said in her strict tone.
"Sorry." Jade replied softly as she took a seat next to me and Chloe.
"What's wrong?" I tried to sound comforting, but I think my voice may have come across as slightly edgy.
"Caden is moving to Germany." She said as she started to cry in to my shoulder.
Jade never cried. NEVER! That's just how upset she was and how much she loved Caden.
"What's going on girls?" Mrs. Lyonold asked prying in to our personal lives.
"Jade got something stuck in her eye. I was trying to get it out, but I accidentally poked her. She was just wiping her eyes on my shirt since they teared up a bit." I lied.
Mrs. Lyonold walked away slowly and Jade's tear kept running down her face. Jade cried for about two weeks. It was so sad that there was nothing we could do. She even threatened to take her parent's credit card to buy a one way ticket to Germany. That obviously never happened though.
It must feel good to love someone that much. I don't think I'll ever feel like that.
