8. Chapter 8
The woman led me out of the room, and in another direction than I used to. I had never walked that way. We passed broken walls and doors, and there was a lot of dead bodies as well. As we walked out, I supposed, I suddenly stopped. The woman stopped beside me, and was me starring at a body. It was my father. "Do you know who he is", she asked. "My father", I answered. She looked shocked at me and stuttered: "I... I am so, so sorry... I... I d... didn't know". Of course she did not, how would she. None of them had no Idea who I was. And I had no Idea who any of them was. I just trusted them. I started walking again, and the woman followed me. soon we came to a door, and we stepped outside. Outside. No roof above us, only sky. No floor beneath us, only grass. It had been years since I was outside last time. I looked up, and first I was blinded by the sun, but then I saw the sky. I do not know why, but I became so incredible happy. The feeling that the sky above me was endless. It made me feel so small, but in the same time, as I was a part in the world, and I was important. I started crying from happiness, but I did not notice. after a couple of minutes, I felt a breeze, and felt the grass tickle my feet. I bend down, and put my hands on the ground. I was amazed by how great it felt. Just the feeling of grass in your hands. Nothing more. An ant crawled up on my hand. I tickled as I felt it's tiny legs walk across my hand and down to the grass again. I sat there and felt the nature for minutes, and at last the woman from before said: "are you ready to go?" I locked up at her face. She had cried. Just because of me. I looked around and saw multiple crying faces, and also some cellphones filming me. Again I felt like an animal. I stood up and nodded to her. She took my hand and led me to a car. We drove a while, but sometime later we had reached our destination. I got out from the car, and looked at a military camp. I suddenly felt how extremely tired my entire body was, and I felt my body collapse, as I stood and watched it. As my body hit the ground I became unconscious.
