5. Chapter 5
The days went on like the second day. They brought me to Taro, I refused, more torture. They cut my arms, back, stomach, wherever there was space. I barely lived those days, and I still have no clue how many days had past. There were more scars on my bodies than you could count. Sometimes Taro commanded me in his presence more than once a day. It lasted months. At last I could not handle it anymore.
One day, as I was in the room with Taro, he asked me the same question, as the days before: "Have you changed your mind?" He was starting to getting angry. Angry was not the word for it. Furious. He wanted me as a weapon. Soon. After the question, I whispered: "Yes". I could not manage to speak louder or more clear. He was walking away from me, expecting to hear no as all the other days. He turned to me He tried, but could not hide his surprise and joy. "Finally, my dear! A very smart decision, I must say. very well, bring the first man in" Taro made a sign to the guards, and after some time a man was dragged in. It was surprisingly the same man as the very first day. He looked at me, and I looked him in the eyes. I saw the fear in his eyes. It was screaming to me: "Save me!" I looked down, and Taro said: " Perhaps you remember this man, Olivia, but he still refuses to follow our commands, and I believe you are the answer on our prayers. Do your thing, my dear." I might was the answer on Taro's prayers, but not the man's. He was confused, that was obvious to anyone. I looked him in the eyes, but this time I shot off my emotions. I looked him in the eyes and focused. He screamed and promised never again to disappoint them. It was not psychical torture, It was sort of mental. I cannot explain how I did it, I just focused on their minds and pain, and then he screamed. Taro was thrilled. The guard led the man out again, and another guide led me to my room again. This time I did not eat the food, I went to bed and cried myself to sleep. Again.
