21. Time for fun
It was one of those lazy Sunday afternoons. We barely had any homework and it was getting warmer and warmer. After a while, Snevilly walked down the lake, getting closer. I looked at James and we both smirked. We've left him alone long enough. Time for a bit of fun! James and I stood up and walked towards Snevilly. He wasn't paying attention so he didn't notice us. James pushed Snevilly and he fell in the lake. Students gathered around us and started to laugh. "Nice one, James." I said. "JAMES POTTER! YOU WORTHLESS LITLLE..." Lily was so angry that she didn't even finish the sentence. "I don't know if you noticed it, Evans, but I'm a bit taller than you." Remarqued James and some students laughed. "Besides, a refreshing bath from time to time can be fun. His hair needed it anyway." I smirked. "Get him out of the lake, Potter." "He can swim by himself." Said James and he looked at Snevilly. Clearly, he can't swim pretty good cuz he could barely keep his head above the water. "Perhaps not." smirked James. Lily un-tied her tie, put out her shoes and her socks and jumped in the lake. She brought Snevilly to the side of the lake, but further away from us and the other students. Lily swim back to us. "Professor Mcgonagall will hear about this, Potter." she said. "Don't worry, miss Evans. I already know. Twenty points will be taken from Gryffindor. Mister Potter, mister Black, you will have detention for 2 weeks." Professor Mcgonagall said and she left.
During dinner, Louis came to us. "Hey guys. I heard you can't play for 2 weeks?" He asked and Sirius and I nodded. "Look, Hamblin is still furious because we lost the Match. The fact that you can't play for 2 weeks - so you can't play against Hufflepuff... Well, let's just say it's better if you leave Hamblin alone for while." Louis said. "Do you honestly think we like it that we have detention?" I asked. "It's possible. You don't care about the rules, James." Remus joined the conversation. I gave him a glare in return. Louis went to his friends. "Don't tell me it's not true. When was the last time you didn't break the rules? A fiew weeks ago?" "Rules are made to be broken, Remus." said Sirius. "That's ridiculous, Sirius. And you know it." "Maybe. But you never stop us when we're breaking the rules. Sometimes, you even join us. So why do you suddenly care so much?" I asked annoyed. "You know bloody well I care about you. Otherwise you wouldn't be my best friends." replied Remus calm. "Sorry." I said and Remus nodded. The food disappeared from the tables and we played chess for a couple of hours before we went to bed.
