26. Severus' threat
After History of Magic, Herbology and lunch, we had a free period. Since Remus and Peter had already done their essay, James and I went to the library. Remus and Peter joined Arthur in the library to study. "Charms... Charms... Charms... Ah, here it is." I said; finding a book with an explanation, history,... about lots of spells. I took the book out of the shelf. "That's heavy." I mumbled. The book counts more than 1000 pages. James searched in the book. "The freezing charm... Where are you? Ah, here you are." It took us 2 hours to write this essay. Next, we had Transfiguration with Hufflepuff. Luckily, Mcgonagall's classes pass by very fast. "Why didn't you help us last night?" Asked James to Remus. "Because, Prongs, you were having detention. A punishment. Which means you've done something wrong and you have to pay for it." Remus said and our mouths dropped open. "What?" asked Remus. "You sound like my mother." Explained James a bit choqued. "Does anyone wants to play Exploding Snap?" Asked Arthur and we all agreed. "How are you and Molly doing?" Asked Remus to Arthur. "Pretty good, thanks. What about you, James?" "Huh, what?" James acted confused but he blushed anyway which made me laugh. "You and Lily ofcourse." "Oh, uhm, we're good, I guess." "Since when are the 2 of you a couple?" I asked surprised. "Not yet, but we're making progress." James got all red which made us all laugh. "James and Lily, sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G. First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby in a baby carriage." We sang - not too loud ofcourse since Lily was here as well. Yet, it was enough to make James shy what doesn't happen often.
On our way to the library, we crossed Snevilly and Sirius teckled him. A fiew students gathered around us. "Capillus accrescere!" I said; pointing my wand towards Snevilly. Everybody laughed cuz' his hair started to grow really fast. "I suggest you take a bath, Snevilly." I yelled as he ran away. Half way the hall, he stopped and turned around; his hair already reaching his hip. "You'll regret this, Potter." I laughed."Is that a threat? Is that a threat Snevilly?" I said and the other students laughed as well. I stepped towards him; grabbed him and threw him a fiew metres away. This time, he ran away for real. "Well done, mate." Said Padfoot and we went to the library.
