“The steak and ale pie was as good as Paddy had described; everyone enjoyed it. They just sat back after eating it until Paddy came in later to ask them to come next door where the live music was about to start. The Irish band called “Elbow Finn.’ They were made up of a bodhran, an acoustic guitar, some Irish pipes, and a fiddle.’

There was enough room in the pub for dancing and they all got up to follow what everyone else was doing. It was great fun even though they didn’t have a clue what they were doing. They all walked back to the manor after twelve o’clock Monique was arm in arm with Rob. Selene and Jim kept a respectful distance but chatted all the way back. When they got to the manor house Rob went off with Monique to her room.

Jim said goodnight to Selene and went to his room alone. He undressed then laid out the charts upon his bed and began to study them. If the wrecks had moved over time where were they and why hadn’t they been found? He took out the photos and scanned each one for clues. He found nothing to suggest that there was any wreckage but he was convinced that they were within a forty mile radius. Maybe tomorrow when they were closer the sea might then reveal its secret that had been hidden for nearly five hundred years.

The plane was ready and the five man diving team ready. Peter Demarco’ whose Spanish roots had heard the tales passed down from his grand father and many generations before; when his long lost uncle Alvaros de Bazan was in charge of the Girona which was wrecked at Lacada point. He was only one of nine men who survived and got back to Naples to tell the tale.

Bentley Gibson a thirty year old ex navy diver. Aaron Michaels, Jonathan Lewis, and Ricardo Alvadez made up the rest of the diving team. They all waited for the fat man as he was know by them all as he got out of his black limousine and climbed up the ladder.

“Gentlemen we are setting out on a great adventure here, hopefully we will all be rich men at the end of all this. All we have to do is allow Bridgett and his divers to do all the hard work finding the wrecks then we will then make our move. Be prepared for some fireworks because Bridgett’s men are all ex-Royal Navy veterans. You are all being paid one million dollars each to do this job so don’t screw it up.’

“Right tell the pilot to get us out of here I want to be in Ireland later tonight.’

“Our accommodation is all taken care of and there will be boat ready for us in two days.’

The private jet aircraft took off ten minutes later; they were now on their way to Dublin.

Jim was always up first and he came down where breakfast was being served Rob followed soon after with the two women following some twenty minutes later.

Opening the various lids they helped themselves. Jim ate scrambled eggs and bacon on toast. Rob just piled up his plate with sausage bacon and fried eggs. He then added mushrooms, and beans. Rob buttered some toast as the others looked on at the vast mountain of food that was on his plate.

“You are never going to eat all of that, are you asked Selene?’

“He will and more besides believe me, I’ve seen him eat.’

Last night when he polished off steak and ale pie in less time than it took me to eat my boiled potatoes I though he was just; you know hungry.’

“I’m always hungry said Rob as another sausage disappeared down his throat.’
