"Harry," I said, rather stunned he was standing in front of me.
"What- what are you doing here?" Harry stuttered. "I mean, sorry, that was rude. How- how are you?"
"We'll leave you to talk," Eleanor smiled, as all the girls left us alone.
I stood up from where I was previously sat, so I didn't have to quite literally look up to Harry.
"I'm- I'm good, I'm great," I answered. "How are you?"
"Yeah, I'm good." Harry smiled, there was a moment of silence. "I'd just like to apologise for what happened, I don't think I had the chance back then," He blurted out rather urgently.
"Harry, don't worry. I think we are both mature enough to move on, I mean it was seven years ago," I smiled.
"Okay," He smiled, breathing out a sigh of relief. "So, how's life? What do you do nowadays?" He asked.
"I'm actually a manger of a hotel down the road from here, I guess I learnt a lot about hotels from touring with you guys," I chuckled.
"Wow, that's cool." Harry smiled.
There was a short pause before he spoke again. "I'm glad we are talking," He said. "I feel like we never really got closure, this is good,"
I nodded in agreement. "So how's your life, how is everyone?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'm good, everyone's good, life's good. Much quieter now we aren't touring and recording and stuff, but it's nice," Harry replied.
"I'm glad your happy," I smiled.
"Me too, I'm glad your happy," He smiled back. "So, back to the original question, why are you actually here, I didn't realise Niall was still in contact with you,"
"He's not. Actually my husband is friends with Niall through golf," I answered.
"Husband," Harry nodded, raising his eyebrows slightly. "When did you get married?" He asked.
"About six months ago," I replied. "And Amanda, is she your wife?" I questioned.
"Fiancé," Harry replied. "So almost," He chuckled.
"You know what, I want to meet this husband of yours," Harry stated.
"What, so you can beat him up?" I asked, jokingly.
"I think we are both mature enough to meet each others partners, from the sounds of it, you've already meet Amanda, so it's only fair if I meet your hubby," Harry smiled.
I looked at him for a second. "Okay," I sighed.
"Gavin, I'd like you to meet Harry, Harry this is Gavin," I introduced.
"Nice to meet you," Harry smiled.
"Are you trying to get with my girl?" Gavin slurred.
He was drunk.
"Been there, done that," Harry murmured, I slapped him in the arm as he did so.
"Gavin, I just wanted to introduce you to Harry, he is an old friend," I smiled.
"We actually dated for about seven years, but yeah 'old friends' works," Harry smirked.
"Oh, so you're the arsehole who cheated on her," Gavin shouted out, getting up out of my seat by the bar.
"Wow, no, you are not fighting over this," I said, grabbing him as he took a step towards Harry and basically fell into him. "Okay, we're gonna go home now as someone's had too much to drink," I smiled at Harry.
"No babe, you stay with your friends, with the girl ones, not him," Gavin slurred, giving Harry a glare.
"Okay, are you sure, shall I call a taxi?" I asked.
A few minutes later, Gavin had gone home and Harry and I were both sat at the bar catching up. I had missed him over these past few years, of course he broke my heart and I don't think I could ever forgive him for that, but we got along so well and I didn't want to throw that away. Harry and I could still be friends.
"So, tell me, what have you been up to these last seven years?" Harry asked.
"I told you, I'm a hotel manger," I replied.
"But you didn't just become a hotel manger, what have you done in-between, when did you meet Gavin, tell me about the wedding," He questioned.
"You really want to know about the wedding?" I chuckled.
"Not in too much detail," Harry chuckled back. "But I want to know about your life, about you. I feel like I don't even know you anymore,"
"Okay, so after I moved out, I moved back to America and lived with my Dad for two years. I studied at Chicago University and did a course in Hotel Management. I came back to London after two years and lived with my brother. I tried to find work in hotels around London, but couldn't find a job, so I worked as a waitress in Clive's restaurant. After about a year of that, I finally found a job in the 'London View' hotel, and I'm now the manager there. I met Gavin about two years ago, he's a doctor and was at a medical conference at my hotel. We kept bumping into each other and realised we got along well. He asked me to marry him on our one year anniversary, and we got married about six months later," I said. "Okay now your turn, fill me in on what I missed in your life,"
"Well, after you moved out I carried on touring with the boys. Then the tour ended and so did One Direction. I did a year of travelling, some with my family, some on my own. It was quite soul cleansing really, gave me time to think. I realised I was a dick, but I think it's important that you know that I never slept with Kendall. I know you said that we need to move on, but I'm begging you to hear me out. Someone spiked my drink, I don't know who and I don't know why, but Kendall was there obviously with all her cameras that follow her around. I was out of it, not only was I pretty drunk, but now I had been drugged. She came on to me and I went with it, I wasn't thinking straight. She dragged me upstairs to her hotel room, and I know you saw the pictures of us going into her hotel room, but I never slept with her. As soon as I got into the hotel room, something inside of me knew this was wrong, I was thinking of you, and I left," Harry explained.
I starred at him speechless. This didn't change everything, but it changed quite a lot.
"I'm so sorry," Harry said.
"What did you do after your travelling?" I asked. "I want to know the whole story,"
"Well after the travelling, I basically moved back in with my Mum for almost a year. I spent time with my family and it was nice. Then I came back to reality, I moved back to London and tried to start a solo career. The boys were cool with it, they didn't mind. Basically I was bored and needed something to do and they understood. But I had nothing to write about and the three songs I wrote were shit because they were boring and bland. I then started to see a therapist, I thought if I had someone help me with my feelings and emotions, then I would be able to convey them into my song writing. The therapist didn't really help and then I missed the deadline for the songs to be in by, so the record label dropped me. My life has been pretty shitty since then," Harry sighed.
"When did you meet Amanda?" I asked.
"Just over a year ago," He answered. "So I guess my life isn't too shitty," He shrugged as he said this as if he was asking me for an answer.
"I'm just so sorry," He said again. "For everything I did, I'm so sorry. My life's shit because of karma, I know it is, I did something wrong and now I'm paying for it, I'm so so sorry,"
"You know what," I said, pausing for a bit."I forgive you," I smiled. "I thought I could never forgive you, but then again I thought you hooked up with Kendall,"
Harry looked at me stunned. And before I knew what I was doing, we were kissing.
