Luke walks in and sits next to me and puts his hand on my shoulder.
"Hey mate. How you holding up?" Luke asked quietly.
"I just feel so stupid. This is all my fault." I said as I put my head in between my hands.
"You couldn't have known she would do this. You didn't know Ash. This isn't your fault." He told me trying to make me feel better.
"It is my fault, Luke. I've known she was like this from the moment we met. I've known about her depression and I broke up with her when she was already in a bad place. I triggered this. It is my fault." I said breathing heavily. "I'd give anything for her to just wake up."
I squeezed her hand and shut my eyes. "Please wake up. Please Lexi. Please just wake up." I breathed and kissed her forehead.
I could hear Ashton's voice. The room was dark but I felt him holding my hand. Suddenly, the lights came up. They were dimly light and I saw Ashton standing in front of me dressed in a tux.
"You look beautiful." He smiled at me. I turned around to find myself staring at a girl who's dark reddish brown hair was curled and it was laced with strands of diamonds. The dress came down to my feet and was made of silver silk from Paris.
Ashton took my hand and spun me around the room as Calum, Luke, and Mikey played Amnesia. I spun around the room and Ashton pulled me close as the song came to an end.
"Wake up please. Please Lexi, just wake up." He whispered in my ear. He kissed my forehead and the lights started to fade out, the music stopped, and Ashton began to disappear.
Then it hit me. I was dreaming.
I was getting ready to leave the hospital, we only had one more day in LA before we had to fly to New York for our next show. I stood up and turned to leave when I felt Lexi's fingers enclose around my wrist. I gasped and knelt by her side.
"Lexi?" I asked softly. "Are you awake?"
"Ashton?" She breathed opening her eyes slightly. She gave me a small smile.
