I walked into the roller rink with the guys and Ashton and I got out skates while Mikey went off to the arcade and Luke and Calum got food and were attempting to pick up girls, which being members of a boy band wasn't hard.
I smiled at Ashton as we put on her skates. He took my hand in his as we stood up to help steady me.
"So um, Lexi. There's been something I've been wanting to ask you. I know we haven't known each other for long, but I felt a connection with you since the moment we met. I was wondering...if you um...wanted to be my girlfriend?" He asked as he looked up at me with a hopeful smile on his face.
"Of course I'll be your girlfriend!" I smiled and hugged him.
I stepped into the roller rink and started shaking. It had been a while since I had been roller skating. I got a couple laps around the rink before some girl checked me into the wall and I fell to the floor.
"You're an attention seeking whore. You're a waste of Ashton's time, you don't deserve him. You ugly slut." She hissed at me. I just stared at her from the ground as she tossed her long blonde hair and skated away. The guys all stared at me. Ashton started to skate towards me. I backed away and got off the rink and pulled off my skates, put my shoes on and ran out the door tears running down my face.
"Lexi wait!" Ashton called after me, but I didn't turn around. I just kept running, my converse smacking the pavement. I was breathing heavily by the time I reached my room. I grabbed the bottle of sleeping pills and the razor blade that were on my bed side table.
I didn't cut deep, they were shallow scratches, but they were deep enough to redden up and bleed slightly. I swallowed 6 of the sleeping pills and was instantly knocked out.
"Lexi wait!" I called after her, but she was already gone. I felt really bad, that girl just attacked her and I just stood there like an idiot. The guys and I all piled into the car and drove straight to Lexi's house. I got out of the car and the others stayed. I ran up to the front porch and knocked on the door. No answer. I opened it and walked in "Lexi!" I called, still no answer.
I ran up the stairs and saw an open door. Lexi was there laying on her bed, asleep. I let out a sigh of relief and walked over to her. That's when I noticed the bottle of sleeping pills spilt on the floor and the drops of blood staining her white bed spread.
"Dammit!" I yelled as I hit my first against the wall in frustration.
"Ashton?" Lexi said groggily. Tear streaks still staining her face. I didn't even turn around to look at her. I couldn't face her.
"Ashton what is it?" She whispered.
