I boarded the plane with Ashton by my side. The interior was even more stunning than the outside of the plane. It was a typical teenage boy's dream room. Leather couches and bean bag chairs lined the walls. Two flat screen tv's were placed in the center with five pairs of head sets. One for gaming, one for movies and a mini bar. I had decided to stretch out on a bed in one of the back rooms.
I brushed my fingers over my lips. Ashton had kissed me. He has kissed me on the forehead and the cheek plenty of times, but this was our first real kiss. I screamed internally as the door opened and I managed to compose myself. I was expecting Ashton, but instead it was Luke who walked through the door.
"Hey." I greeted him as I sat up on the bed.
"Hi." He gave me a small smile as he shut the door and sat next to me
"What's up? You okay?" I asked cocking my head to the side and giving him a confused look.
"Yeah I wanted to talk to you actually. About what happened back in LA." He said as he looked at me. Our eyes met and I gasped slightly as he placed his hand on top of mine.
"Ashton was stupid and he acted rashly. He should've known better. I just wanted to apologize. He feels really bad about it, but you can't let the hate get to you. It's meaningless. Okay?"
"Okay. I'm sorry about that. I honestly didn't think he was going to come back." I said softly looking at the ground.
"Hey now." He whispered as he raised my chin to meet his eyes.
I just stared at him for a moment, those blue eyes burning into my gold ones.
"You had us all scared. And of course he came back for you. I would never leave you Lexi."
"What?" I asked taken aback. He had just said 'I', but we were talking about Ashton.
Luke opened his mouth to answer, but the door opened suddenly. I pulled my hand out from under his and jumped off the bed. I turned and smiled as Ashton walked into the room.
"Hey babe." Ashton smiled as he pulled me into his arms. I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him back as I glanced over his shoulder.
I met Luke's sad eyes once more before he walked out of the room.
