Lucky Day

Ashton was celebrating his 21st birthday like any other 21 year old boy, partying with his friends and not caring about anything.

But little did they know there was a little girl celebrating her 11th birthday on the same day. She was celebrating by hiding from her foster father, Nick.

Michael finally comes out and tells he knew some kids when he was younger.

The day after Ashton's birthday, Mikey mentions the little girl. The boys loved the idea about fostering her and said 'yes'. But all Mikey wanted to do was get close to her again and break her again.

Will he be able to when he figures out what she's turned into? Can Ashton stop her from being broken again? Is there any possible way after what Mikey's done? Will they finally end her pain and sorrow?

3. Chapter 3 | Signing Autographs

Lexi was gone when Ashton woke up. He got a little worried because she really didn't know where she was. "Lexi!" He walked into the kitchen to see the little girl in Michael's lap, drawing.

"Hey Ash, we have to sign autographs today," Michael said getting Lexi off his lap, not interrupting her.

"Shit, I forgot," Ashton said walking to Lexi. "What are you doing?" The little girl quickly covered the paper.

"Uh nothing, what am I supposed to do when you leave?" She asked him looking up at him with her big blue eyes.

"We're taking you with us, you can play around while we do are jobs."

"How long are you keeping me?" Her eyes started tearing up.

"As long as we can."

"Why did you want me?"

"Why wouldn't we?"

"He said no one wants me. I was just a mistake."

"Hey don't say that," Ashton crouched down to get face to face. "Somebody wants you and you're not a mistake, now I need you to tell me who 'he' is."

"I don't know who he is. I do but he said if I told he would do worse to me. He took me in for money. He made me call him sir." Ashton looked at Michael. Who was sitting in front of Lexi. "I-I'm going upstairs. I'm tired," she said running upstairs.

"Dude we have to leave in a few hours." Michael said.

"I know. Did you just hear that little girl?"

"We can't let her go back to foster care."

"There's really nothing we can do. I mean her mum is on drugs and her dad don't want her." Michael said leaving the room. A couple of hours past of a silent house. Ashton hated it so much.

He remembered how Lexi said she was going upstairs. She wasn't in Ashton's room. Shit. He lost her. He went into Luke's room to see if she was in there, nope, Calum's room, nope, Michael's room, nope. "Uh guys?!" Ashton yelled, standing in the middle of the hallway.

"Yeah," they all yelled back.

"Where's Lexi?" All of them went to Ashton.

"I thought you had her," Michael said.

"No," Ashton said.

"Is she in the closet?" Luke said opening the hall closet. She wasn't in there. "I'll find her. You guys start getting ready."

"Okay," they all said going into their rooms. Luke went downstairs. He looked in the backyard, which they finally cleaned up. Lexi was sitting on the patio. Luke walked to her. "Whatcha doing out here?" He asked sitting beside her. The sudden noise scared her a little.

"I don't know, I always sit outside," she said throwing a little rock.

"Well, come inside."

"Nah I'm good," she said.

"We are getting ready to leave, you might want to start getting ready."

"I don't think I'm going to go."

"You have to."

"I can stay home alone, I used to do it in almost every home I've been in."

"Come on," he said picking her up.

When everybody was ready, they got in the van that was waiting outside for them. Luke and Calum played Rock Paper Scissors, Michael and Ashton played on their phone, while Lexi looked out the window.

When they got there, which was like an hour later, they took Lexi to their dressing room and left. Being the curious child she is, she left the room and started walking.

The boys wasn't on stage yet and Luke saw Lexi. He ran to her. "No love, stay in the dressing room," he said picking her up. She whined, but obeyed. The boys went out on stage and did their interview and met some fans.

When they were done and went back to their dressing room, Lexi was asleep, with a pencil in her hand meaning she was drawing something. The boys cooed.

"Awww," Calum said walking to her and slowly taking the pencil out of her hand.

"Hey Ash, I think this is a picture of us," Mikey said holding up the picture. Ashton smiled.

"Well come on mates, let's go home," he said. He slowly picked up Lexi, almost immediately waking her up. She just whined and nuzzled her face in his neck, he smiled and carried her out to the van.

"Is she still asleep?" Michael asked when they got in the van. Ashton nodded.

After about 30 minutes into the ride, with the boys singing their hearts out to the radio, Lexi woke up. She rubbed her eyes and snuggled into Ash's side. He smiled at her and wrapped his arm around her. He kissed her head. She looked up at him and smiled.

When they got home, Lexi was awake but Ashton still carried her inside. Calum and Luke sat on the table, Mikey leaned against the counter, and Ash sat Lexi on the counter top and stood in front of her. "I want cake!" Luke whined.

"We can make one," Lexi said excitedly. The boys laughed, she didn't understand why. "Why are you laughing?" She asked tilting her head a little.

"Not that kind of cake honey," Ash said kissing her forehead.

"Then what kind?" She asked.

"Their ship love," Mikey said. She looked at them more confused than ever.

"Luke wants Calum," Mikey explained.

"Wha- oh!" She said. Ash nodded. "Ewww!" The boys laughed at the child. Calum took Luke upstairs so he could get his cake.
