4. getting ready
Anna took a long hot shower, it was calming on her nerves as well. She didn't know why she was suddenly nervous, it was just a dinner with an old friend.
She had had a crush on him since she was around 12 years old, but he had never given her a second glance, she was just his baby sisters friend, but it was a long time ago, and she had gotten over that crush a long time ago.
And he might have become really big headed and full og himself, he was a big star with hordes of adoring fans, that ought to shrew a bit with your head, she still couldn't comprehend that he wanted to have dinner with her.
She put on her dressing gown and went down to the kitchen, her mother was just putting some flowers from the garden in a vase. "Hallo honey, did you write something good ?"
"Yep and intire chapter, so I'm content. And by the way, I won't be home for dinner". Anna grabbed an apple from the bowl on the table and took a big bite.
Her mother turned around looking expectedly at her. "That fine honey, are you going out with someone ?"
"Tom called and asked if I wanted to meet, get some dinner and catch up". She flashed a smile, and went upstairs again whistling.
Her mother looked after her smiling, it would be good for her to get out, especially to meet someone, she had spend to much time writing lately, only taking breakes to go riding on the moore.
Anna looked through her clothes, what to wear ? She didn't wanted to be over dressed, but she didn't wanted to look like she didn't care about her looks either.
She ended up with a pair of skinny jeans and a green blouse that hugged her body in all the right places and left the top buttens open. Then she put on a light make-up , she left her dark curls hanging down around her shoulders. She looked in the mirror, yes that would work.
When the doorbell rang a few minutes later, she hurried downstairs, afraid that her parents would embarrass her if they spend to much time alone with Tom.
