3. Kinsey April 5th, 2016
“Well, he didn’t seem like he liked me as much as I loved him. Obviously it’s probably too early to decide whether or not I love him, but he just seemed SO nice! And, not to mention he was pretty cute.” I told my BFF, Raven, over the phone.
“But are you sure, Kinsey, that he can learn to like you? That he can learn to LOVE you?”
“Raven why are you so…….. angry at me for this? I don’t understand exactly why you are putting me down when I supported you and your fantasy crushes all the way. I mean, you wouldn’t even have a boyfriend right now if I hadn’t supported your secret crush.”
“Well, now you have to stop pretending and having your fantasies. I’m sorry but I don’t really care whether or not my boyfriend was my secret crush or not because, he also had a secret crush on me!” I heard Raven say. My eyes were watering now.
“You know what Raven, you can have your opinions about my love-life somewhere else. That is until you can have some sort of constructive criticism instead of dragging me down.” I was now full blown crying but I didn’t care. I was absolutely, positively, disgusted with my friend. That’s when I hung up before she could say anything else.
