2. My Best Friend Lynsey (Sep. 10, 2014)
Me and my best friend lynsey haven’t seen each other in a year so I asked my mom for like the thousandth time could we go by her house while we were still in North Carolina. The next day my mom planned this 4th of July cook-out and I really wanted her to come. When my mom pulled into her driveway I was so nervous. I was so scared to walk toward the house. But she was already outside watering her plants, so I walked up her driveway behind her. So heard me coming because of the gravel in her driveway and turned around and her face lit up brightly. She ran up to me and hugged me, I felt…comfort. Something I haven’t felt for a while. I wanted to cry; but I didn’t. I was so excited when she showed up to my house the next day for the party. Til’ this day I continuously think back to that day and I smile, while I still want to cry. It doesn’t matter what happens, I’ll know that there is one person who still cares.
