You just moved to Australia for a college scholarship, leaving your family and friends back home in England. You don't know anybody there and find yourself to be lost pretty quickly. Everyone seems to give you dirty looks and you feel alone. That's when you meet drummer Ashton who's in a band with his friends. You become quick friends and do everything together. Will the friendship become more or will the secrets that everyone keeps from each other tear it apart.

6. Breakfast

I woke up quite early. The boys weren't up yet so I decided to cook them breakfast to thank them for letting me stay. I walked over to the fridge and took out some ingredients to make pancakes and fresh fruit. I turned on the hob and greased a pan and let it heat up while I put on my clothes from the day before. After I had got dressed I returned to the pan and started making pancakes. I put them on a plate in the middle of the table with syrups and prepared some strawberries and blueberries if they wanted them. I sat down and started eating. When the boys woke up they looked like little children at Christmas. They ran to the table and sat down.

"y/n did you do this?" asked Luke amazed.

"Yeah, you do like pancakes right?" I said suddenly realising that not everyone likes them. They both looked at me as if I had asked the most stupid question in the world.

"I don't like pancakes..." Ashton muttered. I looked up from my plate and was about to apologise when he burst out saying "I LOVE THEM!" I sighed and we all laughed because they knew that he had tricked me.

After breakfast I packed up my stuff and folded the blankets and t-shirt that Ashton let me borrow and neatly laid them on the counter. I picked up my bags and thanked the boys again before going down to the office to ask for a spare key so that I could get into my dorm. The receptionist kindly gave me the master key to get into my dorm.

When I got into my room I grimaced at the sight of my room. I had been in Sydney for 2 days and I hadn't unpacked anything. I started opening my boxes to find my speakers. When I found them I plugged in my phone and started blasting Bonjovi through them. I then started unpacking and putting things where I wanted them to be. I was nearly finished when I heard a knock at my door. I turned down my music and opened the door. Ashton stood there and had a bag of Chinese takeaway.

"Hey, you wanna have dinner with me?" he held the bag up and smiled nervously.

" Is it that time already?" I sighed. I laughed and nodded my head.

"That sounds like an awesome idea". I opened the door and let him in. He looked around my room and walked straight over to my speakers and smiled.

"You like Bonjovi?" he seemed surprised.

"No, I don't like him, I LOVE HIM!" We both bursted out laughing as I mocked him. We sat down on my floor, ate the food and chatted for hours. We told each other secrets and he kept asking about England, as I did about Australia. We decided that every Sunday night would be our dinner night, just to keep each other posted. We also came up with horrid nicknames for each other that we both hated. When it was time for Ashton to leave he stood up and I showed him to the door.

"See you tomorrow hunny". He grinned and gave me a massive hug. (I hated that nickname because it just sounded weird and Ashton seemed to find it hilarious.)

"Bye Ashy-Washy" I laughed. He sighed and left to go to his dorm.
