Everything was going according to plan. My arm was rested on the back of Kara's chair while she leaned into my side. She was beginning to warm up to me just like I knew she would. Niall winked at me from his spot on the couch across from us and I couldn’t help but grin back.
“I-I need to go…” Kara told me.
“Come on! It’s only midnight!”
“Harry…my mom is going to kill me. Can you please take me home?” Maybe it was the way she spoke, in a soft whisper, that made me want to listen to her every command.
“Fine,” I said and stood up. She took my hand and I led her out of the house.
“This is your car?!” She asked, surprised as she eyed my black range rover.
“Yes, why is that so surprising?”
She shrugged. “I don’t know…I just thought of you more as the motorcycle-leather jacket type.”
I chuckled. “There’s a fine line between punk and bad boy, my love.”
I helped her into the car before getting in myself.
I watched as he lit a cigarette, held it between his lips, and squinted at the road.
“You should probably stay away from me.” He said, without looking at me.
“And why’s that?”
“Because I’m the guy your parents warned you about when you were little.”
What Harry had said ran through my head when he dropped me off, I looked down and then I went to my room. I looked around the house, it was dark inside, All the lights were off so I walked slowly so I would not stumble over anything, makingI made my way up stairs to my room. I turned on my light and then took off my shoes Feeling so relieved. I grabbed some of my pajamas. I smelt smoke from the party so I was going to shower up and just put my clothes into my room.
After I was done showering, I felt so clean now, I made my way back into my room and then laid across my bed.
Jamie had texted me asking how was the party.
'It was great, they have a great music opinion.' I said leaving out the little game they played.
'Good thing that you enjoyed yourself, what happened between you and Harry?' She curiously asked, I could hear her asking that question.
'Nothing, he just gave me a ride home.' I said.
I had woke up the next morning, Groaning in bed, sitting up once the light blinded my eyes. I sighed and looked at my wall at the clock. It said 10:32 am. I was so happy it was the weekend because if it wasn't I would be so late to school.
I moved my way from my room door and to the bathroom to use it, brushing my teeth. I don't think that I had any plans today. I wonder what Hannah is doing today, I wonder if she will be busy, if she would mind if I come over.
Once I had my cloths on I stepped out of my house, there was a soft breeze that went through my hair making me me feel warm, It felt so amazing outside today.
I walked myself to Hannah's house, I think that she needed to know what happened over Harry's house at his party.
I knocked on her door and she opened it.
“Hey, Kara.” She said with a smile on her face. “Come in.” She gestured her hand for me to come inside and I did.
I walked inside of her house. The cinnamon smell inside of the house. It smelled so food.
“So what happened last night at the party?” She asked me with a smile. “Want any french toast?”
I thought about it for a moment, then nodding my head. she led the way into the kitchen.
“It was okay, They kept thinking Harry and I was in a relationship, his friends are nice though, I seen them around school but never really spoke to them. They are pretty nice.” I said nodding my head.
“I think he likes you.” Hannah laughed and then handed me some french toast.
“I don't know, He is a nice guy if he wasn't so- I don't know, bad?” I said and then sighed and then ate some french toast. It had a crunchy taste to it that I had really enjoyed.
“You can always change him.” She scoffed.
“What do you mean?” I asked slightly confused.
“You know, Change him, change him for the better.” She smiled “Hang with him some more, and influence him to change, lead him to the good things.”
I thought about it for a moment, Harry would be a pretty decent guy if he was nice.
