I stayed in Belfast for another week before heading to San Diego. It was a long flight and I was also in couch, so that came make any flight long and boring. I kept my head to the ground or under a hooding to avoid being seen. Eleven hours later I arrived at San Diego International Airport. Although San Diego was my brith city I was still an Irish citizen without a dull citizenship. So under that circumstance I had to go through the passport check. That, I knew was going to be an utter nightmare. As i had done on the plane I kept my head to the ground, then as I feared my luck ran out.
"Hey aren't you Bella Gibson from One Direction?" the man at the passport counter asked me.
"Umm Yes. But please don't say my name to loud."
"Ok. My daughter wont believe this. She just loves you."
"Really? How old is she?"
"She's seven. I remember she cried for what felt like days when she heard you had left. She prays all the time that you will come back."
"Whats her name?" I asked becoming happier with every moment.
"Her name is Rachel. She was so happy with you and Niall got engaged. She talked for days about it. Are you two still together?"
It took me a moment to answer. I never knew till now just how much I missed not only Niall, but all the boys and the band. I remember a friend I made in Ireland told me that I was foolish for letting other run my life. I looked up to the man at the counter.
"Yes we are!" I said smiling. He smiled in return and handed me back my papers and passport.
I rented a car and went right to my aunts house. I turned on the radio and "Fight song" was playing. The words didn't lie, I still had a lot of my fight left in me and I was about to pull it out.
Once I arrived at Aunt Emily's house. I, at once looked for the next flight back to Dublin. I knew that I had to be with Niall again. I looked and looked, but all the flights were booked up. I finally found one for a week out. That would have to do. All I could think about was being with Niall again. I had new hope now. I didn't care anymore about what others thought and said. When I went out about the city I didn't care who saw me. If anyone asked for an autograph or a picture, I was more then happy to do it, because I once again had life in me. I was happy once more. All that mattered to me now was Niall, my family, and the boys. I felt that the week wasn't going fast enough. But, I found ways to pass the time by visiting family I had not seen in years, cousins, aunts, and uncles. I never knew how family can make time go by fast.
