I watched Lacy leave, carrying her beaten and bloodied brother. I can't believe what I just did. I just beat up my best friend. The worst part of it all?
I don't regret it.
I enjoyed it. The feeling of his blood on my hands, hearing him cry out in pain, watching him bleed; it was all so entertaining. I slowly stalked out of the house, seeing Lacy sitting on the curb with Ashton. I smirked, silently creeping toward them.
I heard Lacy whispering things to her brother and frown. She cares about him way too much. It needs to stop. I shook my head, walking back toward the house.
I lightly brushed Ashton's hair out of his face, whispering apologies to him. It was dark out, so it was starting to get colder outside. I shivered, glancing up and down the road to see if mum was nearby yet. No cars, no lights. Nothing.
I lightly shifted ash's head off of my lap, standing up and looking around. I heard quiet footsteps behind me, but I assumed it was just a drunk guy stumbling to his car. I saw headlights at the far end of the street and smiled. Mum was finally here.
I lifted my arm to wave to her, but it was roughly yanked behind my back. I tried turning my head to see who was behind me, but my vision was blocked by a blindfold.
Realizing what was happening, I began kicking and screaming, trying to get away from the attacker. A hand went over my mouth, silencing my screams. I stopped kicking after a few seconds, realizing that the attacker was much stronger than me. Through the blindfold I saw a light growing brighter, and I was quickly picked up and carried away.
I was gently set into a car that soon began driving away from the party. I slowly sat up, trying to see through the thick blindfold. I breathed deeply through my nose, noticing a familiar scent that I couldn't place.
I shook my head, slumping over to the side. The vehicle slowed to the stop and I shifted slightly. When I did, my elbow hit the button that controlled the window, rolling it down slightly. I turned my head toward the open space, realizing someone could be nearby to help me.
"Somebody help! I've been kidnapped! Someone call the-" I yelled frantically, before being abruptly cut off by a blow to the head. I groaned, hearing the window move back up. I lied back down on the seats, my head pounding.
"Don't try anything like that again." A deep voice snarled. "Or else."
My eyes widened when they spoke. I recognize their voice. My voice shook when I spoke, cracking slightly.
I hope you guys like the new chapter! Sorry it's so short. I'm trying to write in the middle of science class and it's hard to focus. I'll try to update again soon.
