I paused Trevor Morans ALIVE EP that was playing full ball as an extremely loud and obnoxious knock sounded on our door.
Who the hell is that? Everybody's at the ice breaker activity.
"Alright alright I'm coming keep your shirt on!" I called out to the impatient mystery who was no doubt standing on the veranda checking their watch.
I opened the door to reveal Connor tapping his foot with his arms folded.
"Trust me I'm intending to keep my shirt on because it's cold, really cold in fact." He smiled smugly at me.
"What do you want?"
"Where's your little friend?" He tried stepping inside but I stepped right in front of him to block his path.
"Her name's Carrie and she's in the shower, now what do you want?"
His eyes skimmed what he could see of our cabin.
Listen unless you have a fascination for YouTuber merch and technology there's not much that'll interest you.
"Ella who's that?!" Carrie called from the bathroom.
"Does the name Connor mean anything to you?!"
I heard her groan and then switch the water off.
"Is there a reason that you decided to skip the activity? Did you not read the guidelines of this camp?" He asked now looking me up and down.
I rolled my eyes and went over to the bathroom door, knocking once.
She popped her head out; "What have we done?"
"He caught us ditching."
She sighed; "Okay get dressed, and we'll go don't worry I have a plan."
I nodded and shut the door, turning towards Connor.
"We'll be there in a minute." I muttered putting on my Ricky Dillon sweatshirt.
"Oh I'd prefer to escort you both seeing as though you seem to be locationally challenged."
I was about to respond but Carrie came out and put on her common culture sweatshirt ignoring the stifled laughter from Connor.
"Lets do this." She mumbled locking the door and following Connor down to the activities hall.
"Our life begins soon." She smiled linking her arm with mine as we started skipping past Connor in slight giggles.
"Don't go to far!" He called after us, "You might get lost again!"
"Are you always this smug?" I asked turning around to face him.
He shrugged; "I don't know you tell me."
"As if she'd know." Carrie rolled her eyes.
"Well she's my biggest fan, I like the bracelet by the way." He raised his eyebrows at the Connor Franta wristband I was wearing.
I turned back to Caroline and shook my head, he needs some new jokes.
"I'd say I like his face but right now it's leaving a lot to be desired." I mumbled.
She looked at me trying to hold in her laughter.
Little did it work, she burst out laughing and screwed up her face mocking Connors facial expression at her outburst.
"You two need help." He sighed leading us into the hall.
"More like a life." I muttered.
