Creators Camp

How does a summer camp with your internet best friend and favourite YouTuber sound? What about having your whole past written in direct messages to that YouTuber with an abandoned Twitter account? What about having a past that could tear you away from the life you dream of living? It doesn't seem so easy anymore, does it?

12. Part 11.

a/n; none of these @'s are mine, I just thought of them, I don't know if they're taken or not but they aren't based off anyone :) xx

They actually look good." Carrie smiled as I tried on endless pairs of converses.

"You reckon? Or should I go with the plain black ones?"

She studied them for a second; "Nah I reckon those ones because they break up all the black in your wardrobe."

"How do you know I have all black? Live in there do you?" I mused while putting my boots back on and putting the black converses back on the shelf.

"Ella, I know you almost as well as Connor knows you."

I almost laughed; "Honey that's obvious he doesn't know me at all."

"Hey girls who's @franticallyfranta on Twitter?" Connor asked walking into our aisle.

"Uhhh I don't know." I shrugged before frantically running away without it looking suss.

Carrie was not far behind me.

"Doesn't know you at all? How the heck did he just find your old @?" She hissed getting my wallet out of my bag for me.

"I don't know! Maybe he just found it or something? Hey either way he'll never know it's me right?"

I handed the money to the cashier ignoring his confused facial expressions.

"You creeping on fan accounts?" I asked in an attempt to lighten the situation.

"No I was going through my dm's looking for something and I saw hers and they caught my eye so I'm reading through them." He shrugged.

Carrie looked at me with wide, fearful eyes.

"Now what?" She whispered.

"Listen he wont know, I never told him my life story- oh no." I clamped my hand over my mouth as a realisation hit me.

"Shit Carrie I sent him a photo of me!"

Her mouth dropped open; "Okay we need a plan. Like NOW."

I looked over at Connor, his eyes went said before softening a little, like an endless cycle of emotions.

Yep he's definitely reading them.

"I wanna go into Topman." He announced heading towards the store.

My heart was in my throat, it's only a matter of time 'till he scrolls down far enough to see my face and then everything will take a turn for the worse.

I have to stop him reading them at all costs.

If me and Carrie are going to live the life we've always dreamed of... Connor can not see those messages under any circumstances.

They have way to many secrets that have to stay secrets; my sexuality, my past, my fears, my feelings...
