8. Grown up
I grew up and went to college still never forgetting my sister. Life was pretty good for me I had good grades in school and lots of friends to hang with. Everything seemed to be falling into place for me and I couldn't be happier. Then it all came crashing down when I went to a party with some friends. "Come on Len it's gonna be fun!" One of my friend said patting my back and I smiled and nodded. "Okay I guess I could take a brake from studying for one night." I said with a little laugh and my friend did a fist bump garbing my hand. "What are we waiting for then!" He said garbing my hand dragging me to the car. I laughed and went with them in the car as they took me to eh party. It was a fun night filled with laughter and drinking. My friends tried to get me to drink but i turned it down as they both just shrugged getting drunk.
After the party was over I offered to drive us all home. My friends refused and instead on driving. I thought no harm could come from it so I let him drive only to end up in a car crash. Everything went black and my head was pounding. "Len!!! stay with me where getting help!!!" I heard someone calling out to me but I couldn't be bothered to look at them so I just let the darkness cradle me like a blanket.
When Len's mother got a call from the same hospital she had lost her daughter in her heart sank. "Len got into a car crash..." she said with a shaky and heavy heart. Her husband rushed to her side to comfort her as best he could. "Will he be okay?" Her husband slowly asked not waiting to upset her more. She shook her head as she told him about how there son died form a brain tumor that popped in the crash. The ounce happy family that had thought its greaving days where over returned to the grave yard with heavy hearts, to bury another beloved child taken away form earth too soon.
