"Are you Katelyn?" The lady asked. I nodded and smiled softly. I immediately recognized her.
"Yes, that would be me," I answered with a small nervous laugh. She smiled broadly to me and I relaxed immediately.
"Don't you be nervous, dear. Let me introduce myself. My name is Maura," she said and held out her hand for me to shake. I ignored her hand and wrapped my arms around her form.
"Sorry, I'm a hugger," I apologized when I pulled away shortly after. Something flashes through her eyes as she studies my features.
"Oh you two look so much alike," she sighed and shook her head. I awkwardly shifted my weight from one leg to the other.
"Come on, dear, lets go home," she finally said and gestured for me to follow her. Her accent in so thick I almost have to think twice.

"Welcome, Katelyn. Just make yourself at home," Maura, my mum, said and looked back at me with a warm smile. I couldn't help but smile back to her. I broke eye contact and looked around me.
"Maura? Is that you?" A voice sounded from further into the house.
"Yes! And I have Katelyn with me!" Maura shouts back.
"Take place, dear," she said to me and motioned for me to take place in the living room. I just nodded and awkwardly dragged my suitcase along with me. A man was already seated on one of the sofas. He looked up when I walked in and got up from his seat.
"Hello, you must be Katelyn, yeah?" I nodded and waved awkwardly. He too held his hand out for me to shake, but I just wrapped my arms around him like I did to Maura earlier in the airport.
"Oh, so you're a hugger, too?" He asked and chuckled. I blushed and nodded slightly.
"Yeah, sorry," I answered.
"No harm done. I'm Bobby, by the way."
"I know who you are," I commented bluntly and immediately regretted it. Oh god, why am I so awkward?
"Oh? How's that?" He asked surprised and gestured for me to take a seat. He sat in the chair in front of me.
"Oh, uh, I-I know you're son.." I answered, awkwardly twirling my thumps. Recognition flashed in his eyes and his smile stretched further across his lips. He seemed almost proud. But, I mean, who wouldn't be proud if their child had reached such success?
"I see.." He simply answered. "So you're a fan?" He added on. I nodded vigorously.
"I've been their since the x-factor," I answered. Maura entered the living room just as I had said that and took place on the cushion beside me.
"So what did I miss?" She asked and looked at us. I looked at Bobby and saw him smiling at me.
"I figured out Katelyn is a fan of our son," he told her, clearly amused. I blushed a deep red and looked at my hands in my lap.
"Oh? So you're what they would call a Directioner?" She asked. I hid my face in my hands. "Oh come on, Kate don't be shy!" I shook my head and looked at them.
"Yes," I finally answered. Maura and Bobby shared a look and then looked back at me.
"Wonderful! That just makes everything so much easier!" Maura exclaimed clapping her hand together in glee. I furrowed my eyebrows at them.
"Makes what easier?" I asked confused. But before any of them could answer me, there was a knock on the front door. She immediately shot up from the sofa and nearly sprinted to the closed door. She opened it and squealed in delight.
"Nialler!" She squealed and rushed forward to hug her son tightly.
