"But mum!" I whined dragging out the word 'mum'. She has been pestering me about going to the store and fetch some stuff for the past ten minutes.
"Kate, stop! Just do as I told you and get it over with! It's not like it's three-hundred miles away!" I groaned.
"Why can't Jack or Finn do it?" I asked irritated and pointed towards my brothers. They're both just sitting there, watching, smirking at me.
"Because, you're almost nineteen years old. You're a young woman and you need to be able to take on a responsibility if you want to move on your own," she lectured me while cooking what looked like some kinda lunch thing. Surely for Jack and Finn, those sneaky bastards!
"Come on Kate, it's just a trip to the grocery store not a journey to the other side of the world," Finn commented clearly amused.
"Fine!" I gave up and bowed my head in defeat.
"Great, honey. The list is there," she said pointing to a piece of paper on the countertop. "And there are money in the jar over there," she added and pointed to a cookie jar. I nodded end though she really wasn't paying attention to me and collected both the list and enough money to be able to pay for it.
"You want anything with?" I asked my little brothers. Both of them shook their heads and I shrugged. Less word for me then. They were going to pay for it themselves anyway. I put on my shoes and my cream colored summer jacket without zipping it up. I flipped my hair out from under the jacket of smoothed it out.
"You're such a girl!" Finn commented. I rolled my eyes and grabbed my handbag with the stuff in it.
"In case you haven't noticed, I am a girl," I replied while fixing my hair and makeup in the mirror beside the front door.
"Oh we know," Jack butted in. "You remind us every month." I sent him a disgusted look. They both bursted out laughing and even my mother giggled for herself. I rolled my eyes and left the house, making sure to slam the door behind me.
My phone beeped in the handbag with a new text.
"Don't take it too personal. You know we love you." -Finny
I couldn't help but smile and put my phone back in my bag. I was just looking around the place I grew up in when I notice a girl staring very intensely at me. I frowned but tried my best to ignore her.
She just kept staring at me like some crazy stalker. It was getting kind of creepy. She would have to only be like fifteen maybe sixteen years old. She couldn't possibly be any older, of course I could always be mistaking.
I finally made it to the store, but not without the girl. She had been following me for the whole ten minute walk to the store. I was really trying my best to just ignore her, but as always I was epically failing. I kept stealing glances at her and every time she would already be looking at me.
I quickly retrieved all the listed things and payed for it, including a few things for myself. Nothing big.
"Are you sure you'll be able to eat all this be yourself?" The cashier asked raising her perfectly plucked eyebrow at me. I frowned and looked at the things I bought.
"I can't see anything wrong with what I'm buying," I replied while I packed it all up the bags.
"Aren't you afraid you'll get, like, fat or something?" She asked rather rude. I gaped at her and stopped packing my goodies in bags. I glared at her and grabbed a minibar from the counter.
"I'm going to make you pay for this because you insulted me. Have a nice day," I said and walked out of the store with my bags in hand. I threw the minibar in my handbag and started my way home.

Okay so basically she just stole that thing, and of course you can't do that, it's illegal. In my story she did it, but remember it's a story so don't do it at home!
Hope you like my story so far! Vote and comment if it's something you want me to continue on.
