A Large Amount of Gratitude (3 Good Things)

So I’d like to share a ever growing list of fundamental things that I feel grateful for. I usually only reflect on one or a few of these things when I need to but I thought a list like this one could be helpful both for you and for me. And maybe not every item on this list works in your life, then take what works from here and create and add to put together your own list.


23. The Twenty-Third Day

Today has been quite a happy day:

67. For tea, not only for being that hot drink that soothes the soul but for being the warm anchor you can hold onto. I didn’t know this but holding something hot is actually beneficial to your health, it is said to mimic that of human comfort which seemingly has calming properties.


68. For Family meals because even if we don’t talk much during the dinner they offer comfort and a bond that can’t be broken. Plus the shared appreciation of home cooked food and the resultant nursing of consequent food babies are something I look forward to.


69. For pens; I can only imagine what a tedious chore that a quill and ink were back in the olden days before pens and pencils. This makes the demand of writing for two hours straight for an exam so much easier than it could have been. The hand cramps would be so much worse if the invention of the pen had not been made.
