A Large Amount of Gratitude (3 Good Things)

So I’d like to share a ever growing list of fundamental things that I feel grateful for. I usually only reflect on one or a few of these things when I need to but I thought a list like this one could be helpful both for you and for me. And maybe not every item on this list works in your life, then take what works from here and create and add to put together your own list.


4. The Fourth Day

Today was a good day. A normal day that I can’t say was excellent or bad. Just normal. Good to say the least: 

10. My Dog.

Warm comfort alone your back or side on a morning is just bliss. She is always a listening ear to my many ramblings and a hot water bottle when it comes to the cold nights. I never regret getting her nearly nine years okay. 

11. The Internet.

For connecting me with others despite the physical distance between us. A busy lifestyle with my studies means that with some people, the internet is the only option to connect more deeply with them. That interaction is just as good and benefitting as physical contact.

12. My sense of hearing.

This isn’t something that we think of normally. When I was little, I was deaf for a while and now that I think back on it I am grateful for it still to this day. My hearing is at its best and it allows me to hear the trickle of rain, people’s laughter, and the harmonious chords of music.

I have to thank my ears for letting me hear the sounds that make me happy.
