A Large Amount of Gratitude (3 Good Things)

So I’d like to share a ever growing list of fundamental things that I feel grateful for. I usually only reflect on one or a few of these things when I need to but I thought a list like this one could be helpful both for you and for me. And maybe not every item on this list works in your life, then take what works from here and create and add to put together your own list.

32. The Fortieth Day

Today is the first of June and God the days go quick. This may seem the end of the entries but that is for now, if anything this has taught me the true meaning of documenting what you appreciate.

94. Our abilities:

That can stretch to anything, our ability to learn, our ability to read, our ability to do that certain thing we love. Each and every ability that we have has been created due to our experiences, due to the hard work of ourselves. It show personal dedication to stay up and read just one more chapter just because you feel enraptured and enjoy the story, or to run an extra bit just to feel that extra satisfaction when you finish. Our abilities make us who we are and what we can do to be happy and achieve personal growth.

95. For lilacs in the spring: my garden is full of them and daisies. It reminds me of my childhood when I can make flower crowns and be a princess for an afternoon. That provides an escape from the stress of exams and the knowledge that becoming an adult is much more demanding with responsibilities and stress. For now I can live in my little bubble and be at peace.

96. All of your entries about the things you are grateful for:

I have for the past month sat back and read all the other entries for this awareness month. In doing so, I have listened to people say that even when life is bad and it feels like the whole world is against you there are still things you can look forward to, to be positive. And I have found it to be absolutely true. Yeah, one day your whole world might come crashing down (for the moment) but, you’re still breathing, you’re healthy, you have two feet, two hands, two eyes and there’s people in this world that admire you and the fact that they got to be a part of your life.
What I like to live life by is, life is too short and, unfortunately, it is. So why spend the 80 or so years that you spend living on earth depressed or sad or hating anything or everything that comes your way? Be happy! Instead, approach your problems a different way. Be happy someone hit your car because you have a car. There are other people in the world that walk to wherever they have to be, and sometimes they don’t have shoes. So, appreciate the luxuries that you obtain.
Ways you can be happy is to take the time and soak things in, soak in the beautiful sunset, or sunrise, soak in the love and the support you receive on a daily basis, soak in all the events that you fought your way through that made you stronger, soak in the fact that you have a chance to be living here and now.

Reading them all has taught me this and for that all I can say is that I am thankful for your words for they inspire not only me but the world.
